To Wear The Mask

Oh! To wear the mask,

To hide away all those sorrows

In which is an arduous task.

To conceal those emotions that follows

You everyday. Oh, if only!

If only I can cover up this solemn face,

To easily shield away the worried girl who's lonely.

It's hard to act joyous when there's always a trace

Of what problems I really have.

So to those who can put on that wonderful shield,

And act strongly though they're sad,

It's to them you must yield;

Recognize someone who's really fought,

Bow at their acting if someone they're not.
