Why is it, that throughout life,
Being humans, we all must strife
About our looks, and our "beauty,"
When seeing someone for who they truly are, is our real duty?
It's about who you are inside,
There's no real rules you must abide.
So though it may cause you pain,
It's better to be yourself than feign
Someone you're not, so why don't you cherish
The real you, rather than be a fraud and perish,
Because who you are is all that counts,
So go, let that mask be renounced!

Poems from the Heart and Mind
Short StoryThese poems are all ones I've wriiten over the years, some in good times, some in bad. A lot are fragments of my imagination. There are some poems of suicide, love, broken-heartedness, confusion, and death. Enjoy.
