Chapter 1

Jungkook felt a twinge of guilt. When the words left his mouth, he knew that he had gone too far.

Taehyung's hazel eyes were wide with shock and Jungkook thought he looked like an adorable deer caught in headlights. But in the next second, Taehyung's eyes narrowed dangerously, the hazel dripping with anger and humiliation as he stood up.

Taehyung snatched his proposal off the table with one hand and pointed the other at Jungkook. He hissed lowly while towering over Jungkook who was seated, "look, Mr. Jeon. We both know that you intentionally make things difficult for my team. You have shot down every proposal we come up with and demanded change after change to ultimately return to the original marketing plan before releasing the budget for execution. This had happened for the past three campaigns and apparently only started since I joined four months ago. Who do you think you are, saying such words to me without any basis!?"

Jungkook did not expect Taehyung, who was usually friendly and collected, to have an outburst in his office.

But how dare he, when Jungkook knew what he saw.

He scoffed, "You know what you did."

"Bullshit! I have no idea what you're talking about."

It was the wrong time to do so but Jungkook couldn't help but glance at Taehyung's enticing lips which were currently pulled back into a snarl. His eyes were clouded with anger, and Jungkook wondered if he was as passionate in bed.

Jungkook was turned on. He never could resist Taehyung.

This did not go unnoticed, as Taehyung smirked in disgust at Jungkook's eyes dilated with lust, and backed off from Jungkook's desk.

Taehyung's blazer whipped audibly as he sharply turned towards the door, slicing through the thick tension in the room.

Taehyung's voice was filled with sarcasm, "who is, in your words, a slut now, huh?"

Jungkook could only stare at the closed door with his mouth open, embarrassment and regret bubbling in his stomach.
