Betty's POV

'Elizabeth, you whore you are next'; my dad said grinning and walking towards me after he killed my mom. 'FBI hands up'; the FBI comes in just in time. 'You b*tch, you called the cops'; he said while being restrained.

And know I am here, at my mom's funeral. There is no one else here, because when they were just married my dad pushed everyone away. 'I am sorry mom'; I said crying. 'Are you the daughter of Alice'; a man said. 'Yeah, who are you'; I said kinda scared. 'Don't be afraid, I am a good friend of your mother FP Jones, she knew that something like this would have happened so we had an agreement'; he said. 'What was the agreement'; I asked. 'Well, you will probably hate me, but this is for your safety'; he said. I just looked at him confused. 'I am the serpent king and you are serpent by blood'; he said. 'Youwillhavetomarrymyson'; he said, but I didn't understand. 'What did you say'. ' you, will have to marry my son'; he said. 'WHAT, I AM NOT MARRYING SOMEONE I DON'T KNOW'; I said tearing up. 'I am sorry, but if you want to be protected you will have too'; he said. 'What do you mean, my father is locked up, he can't get me'; I said nervous. 'He kind've escaped'; he said. 'W-what that can't be possible'; I said crying. 'Hey, come with me, you can come with me and meet my son. There won't be much of a rush for the wedding'; he said. 'Okay'; I said whispering. We walked towards a bar and I became anxious.

'Dad, who is this'; a boy with beanie. 'Son, we need to talk in private, but first I need to make an announcement. He walked towards the stage and said: ' Hello serpents, some of you already saw but that is Elizabeth Cooper, daughter of your ex-queen Alice Cooper'. Everyone gasped. 'Her father has killed her mother and attempted to do it with her. She will be staying with me know that her father has escaped'; he said. Everyone was looking at me with sorrow. 'Will she be our next queen with Jughead'; somebody yelled. 'To be discussed'; FP said and I knew what he meant. Jughead looked at me confused. 'Kids, let's go to my office'; FP said when he was with us.

'Dad, what did you mean with "to be discussed"; Jughead said, and I felt bad that he had to marry me, because of my dad. 'Mr. Jones, I don't want that your son is going to loose all his freedom, because of me. He needs to marry someone out of love, not because of me, I don't want that you guys are all in danger because of me. This is my, dad and my demon. I will face him if I have too and face the consequences. I don't want your son to pay for my father''; I said. Jughead looked at me confused and FP sad. 'Dad what does she mean with, me marrying her'; Jughead said and he raised his voice. 'Son, me and her mother made an agreement that when Hal, her father would kill her that you will have too marry her daughter for protection'; FP said calm. 'WHAT'; he screamed. He was angry and I was scared he would hit me. 'I will go, please don't hurt me';I said crying. Jughead looked at me and his face softened. 'Hey, I am sorry for yelling and I am not going to hurt you, I promise'; he said. 'I think you guys need to calm down, Elizabeth-'; FP said but I cut him off. 'Please don't Call me that, call me Betty'. 'Okay, Betty you can talk to Toni if you want, she is a female serpent with pink hair, I will talk to Jughead alright sweetheart'; he said in a tone, I have never heard. I nodded and walked down stairs, everyone looked at me with pity. I saw a pink haired girl and walked towards her: ' hey, are you Toni, mister Jones told me to talk to you'; I said shy. 'Yeah, you must be Elizabeth, I am sorry for your mom and dad, we totally need to be friends. I will ask FP if you can sleep with me tonight if you want'; she said. 'Sure, and call me Betty'; I said. It felt weird having a friend. 'I will be right back'; she said and left.

FP POV

'Son, let me explain'; I said as soon as Betty left. 'Yeah explain how you let me marry a girl who I don't know'; he said angry. 'It all started when Betty was born, Hal hated Betty for some reason and Alice was scared something would happen too Betty. When she was just born I would babysit on Betty a lot. You were one month before her born so suddenly I had two kids too watch for. I loved you both soo much, but when Betty turned one I had to give her back to Alice and Hal. At that moment I didn't knew Hal was abusive so I gave Betty to Alice. I hadn't Betty seen in 4 years but suddenly Alice came to our house with a little blond girl. Betty had a red cheek and a cut above her eye. I cleaned her up and Alice said : ' if I ever die, I need you too watch Betty and make her marry your son, I know that Hal will go after her someday and the serpents are her only hope'. I said yes because she was my best friend and too see Betty already so bad at the age of 5 made me say yes. As you know I am sherif know, and when I heard 13 years later that Alice was killed by Hal I started looking for Betty. Son you have no idea how bad her life is. I need you to say yes to this arrangement'; I said looking at Jug. 'Okay, but before we get married, I need to get to know her and maybe I will like her'; he said. 'Boy, she is just like you. She likes writing and reading and is the weirdo loner girl who has no friends at school'; I said. 'That bad'; he said.

Soo, this is my second story, my first one is finished and I will try to posted more often if I am not too busy with homework. Sorry for grammer/spelling mistakes 😊
