Jughead's POV

In the ambulance they plugged her on a lot of equipment and gave her a breathing mask. She looked at me and had tears in her eyes. I stroked her hair and said : 'hey love, everything is gonna be okay'. She nodded and smiled. When we were at the hospital, they ran her inside, but I couldn't come with her. I paced around, but couldn't keep myself calm. 'Jughead' I heard behind me, I saw Cheryl, my dad, Toni, Sweet- Pea, Fangs and Chic walking towards me. My dad hugged me and Cheryl asked : 'where is my cousin, Jughead'. 'She is in surgery, when we found her, she wasn't breathing so I had to do CPR, god I have never been more scared'; I said running my fingers trough my hair. 'Jug, you saved Betty's life'; dad said. Chic walked towards me and hugged me, which surprised me. 'Thank you, for saving my sister'; he said. 'No problem, I would've given my life to safe hers if that was possible'; I said.

We have waited for hours when doctor. Masters came. 'Elizabeth Cooper'. 'Is she okay'; I asked as we all walked to her. 'She is fine, the test results showed us that most of the smoke is already out of her lungs, but she still has trouble breathing, she also has a broken ankle, she probably stumbled in the trailer or twisted her ankle when she fell unconscious. You can see her, but one at a time, she is weak, her room is 227'; he said and left. 'Wait dr. Masters'; I yelled. 'Yes'. 'Do you have any information regarding Alice Cooper, her mother'; I asked. 'Yes, are here any relatives'; he asked. 'Me'; both Chic and Cheryl said. 'I am sorry, but she had too much smoke in her lungs, she passed away at the operation table, I am sorry for your loss'; he said and walked away. 'Oh god'; Chic said sitting down. 'I am so sorry'; I said. 'It's not your fault, go to Betty, she needs you, we will be fine'; he said. 'Okay'; I said and walked to her room.

'Hey love, how do you feel'; I asked sitting next to her holding her hand. 'I'm fine'; she said, I raised my eyebrow and she chuckled. 'I am seriously fine, do you have info on my mom'; she asked, oh god. 'Love, your mom passed away, I'm sorry'; I said stroking her hand. 'Is it bad I am sad about this, she is still the same person who has abused me, but I am sad'; she said as a tear fell out of her eye. I sighed, wiping her tear away, caressing her cheek. 'Baby, you are allowed to be sad and grief, she was still your mother'; I said. She just nodded and we both got lost in each others eyes. Then the nurse came and said: 'I am sorry to interrupt, but I need to check your vitals'. 'Okay'; she whispered. After the nurse had checked everything, she said the rest could come so they did. 'Chic'; she said looking at him. 'Lizzie, never do that again'; he said before hugging her. 'I can't make any promises'; she said giggling. 'Betty'; we all said looking at her. 'What, if it was one of you I would do it again and again and again'; she said smirking. I sighed, knowing we couldn't change her, kissing her forehead. She smiled at it and I did the same, forgetting that everyone else was in the room. 'Alright lovebirds, how cute this is, the girls need to show Betty some wedding dresses'; Veronica said and everyone laughed, I looked at Betty and she was as red as a tomato. 'Alright see ya later Betts'; I said kissing her hair and leaving with the rest.

'Dude, what happened with though no feelings serpent king, your a lovesick puppy now'; Sweet-Pea said. 'What are you talking about, I am not a lovesick puppy'; I said looking at him. 'Jug, I have known you for your entire life and you were never like this, not even your sister can make you this soft'; my dad said and a blush appeared on my cheeks. 'Dude are we gonna win the jackpot today, Jughead Jones blushed'; fangs said and everyone laughed. 'Chic, has your sister cast a spell on him'; fangs asked. 'I don't know, she has this affect on people'; he said laughing at me. 'That she does'; I said.
