At 6:45 PM, Jungkook stares at himself in the mirror of the hotel bathroom. Adjusting the knot of his tie, he attempts to swallow his nerves. The rehearsal ceremony at the church ended fifteen minutes prior; after which, the entire wedding party traipsed back to the hotel. After half an hour of pretending not to stare at you, Jungkook found himself needing a minute.

Eyes closed, he stifles his groan. Rather than wear your usual professional attire, you have chosen instead a flowing skirt and tight top. The moment Jungkook saw you at the church, all thoughts flew from mind. Everyone was staring at Namjoon and Jungkook was looking at you.

Gripping the edge of the sink, Jungkook stares at himself in the mirror. Getting involved with you would be a terrible idea. The two of you live in separate cities. You are Namjoon's wedding planner. The one person he specifically said he would stay away from.

Swallowing hard, Jungkook turns around to open the door.

The rehearsal dinner is being held at the same restaurant as his disastrous date with Gina, although now, a floor has been cleared for dancing and drinks.

Before he enters the room, Jungkook gives himself a silent pep talk. He is Jeon Jungkook. He can do this – he can survive a weekend of being around you and doing nothing more. Even though you are the first person in a long time to make him wonder. The first person he wants to see more of. To – closing his eyes, Jungkook cuts himself off.

When he opens his eyes, he sees you.

You are across the room, chatting to the bartender and gripping a clipboard to your chest. It makes Jungkook smile, watching you be animated about ice cubes. This realization has Jungkook wanting to bury his head in the sand. God, he is hopeless.

"Jungkook!"

The voice is familiar, and not in a good way. When Jungkook locates its source, a pit of dread settles into his stomach. Gina.

Before he can react, she crashes into him. Arms wrapping around his waist, she buries her face in his chest – Jungkook stares in confusion, arms held awkwardly by his sides. Over the top of her head, he sees you look up.

"Gina." Jungkook attempts to disentangle himself.

Once released from her hold, Gina flips shiny hair over one shoulder. Not bothering to be subtle, she drags her gaze down his chest. "I saw you at the wedding rehearsal." Gina drops a wink. "You are wearing the hell out of this suit."

Although this is true, Jungkook does not care to linger. "Um, thanks," he says, wondering where you have gone to. The bartender's counter is empty.

"So sad we're not walking down the aisle together." Gina's lips tug into a frown.

"Yep. Bummer."

"Maybe I'll ask ______ to switch me!"

Horrified by the thought, Jungkook is about to offer every excuse in the book when he is saved by the bell. Quite literally – Seokjin stands at the front of the room, a small silver bell in one hand. It looks like something he stole from the help desk.

"Take your seats!" he yells over the crowd. "Food is about to be served!"

"Gotta go!" Jungkook blurts, tearing himself away.

At the first set of familiar faces he sees – Seokjin and Hoseok – Jungkook darts in between them. "Save me," he says, ducking behind Hoseok.

Hoseok continues to sip his champagne. "You're taller than me, Jungkook. Everyone can see you."

"Jungkook!" Seokjin throws an arm over his shoulder. "Just the man we wanted to see."

"Am I?" Jungkook glances at him. "Where's Heidi?"
