The Mysterious Killer

Rumor.

This whole story will be in second person POV.

You open your eyes to see the sun in the sky. You were in Floaroma Town. Today you would be heading for Eterna City. You go to the pokemon center to heal your pokemon.

"Hey kid! You going to Eterna?" You turned to see a guy in a breeder suit.

"Yeah. Why?" He snorted.

"Have you heard about the rumor about the forest that is before it?" You shake your head.

"The Eterna Forest Rumor?" The nurse across the counter asked. The breeder nodded. "I've heard people talking about it. But I've never heard the actual rumor." The breeder smiled.

"Well I'll tell you both right now. It's hard enough going through the forest alone. To be honest, there are two rumors. Same title." The nurse's eyes widened. She hands you your pokemon and looks at the breeder as he explains. "The first part of the duo rumors is the main part of the forest. The other is the problem of the forest."

"Rumor has it that there is a definite shiny Buneary in Eterna Forest. If a trainer faints it, it hides until the next trainer comes."

"But there's more." He added. "My brother went through the forest. He then asked another trainer who went through after him and asked what happened in his journey through. The exact same story." Your e/c eyes widened as he continues.

"The other rumor is that a mysterious woman will ask you for help getting through the forest due to the constant double battles. For some reason, people always run into the shiny Buneary when she's with them. She travels to the back of the forest, but then appears again in the front for the next trainer."

The breeder sighed.

"No one has ever caught the Buneary or found out why it disappears. No one knows why the girl is always there or why the Buneary appears near her. All people know is that the forest has a rumor running around the region." He turns to you. "You're the first trainer that has stayed and listened to the story. I wish you luck." You smile and head out. On your way to the forest, one thing crossed your mind.
