Chat Noir de-transformed behind a building, heart beating fast at what he had just gone through. Throughout the entire times of them fighting against villains, he had always been the one to take the hit for her and become a helper of the villain they were facing.
But now she was the villain.
Confusion clouded his mind. He wanted to know the reason as to what had happened to her to make her turn this way. Taking in a deep breath, he exhaled. No! First, he had to take her down before he got any explanation; he had to use her weaknesses against her.
Adrien took his phone out while Plagg chomped on some cheese in front of him. Although the cheese stank, it was the least of his worries. While waiting, he wanted to check out the news of the fight and see where everything was at. A reporter or two would be recording the fight.
As he watched the fight, he noticed how Lady Fortune was keeping herself away from the other heroes. Obviously, she knew what their powers were and was making sure she didn't get hit. When she swung her longsword towards them, Carapace immediately brought out his shield in front of him, protecting himself and the two females behind him. Adrien was then taken to another news on TV. His eyes widened with shock when he saw himself and Lila sitting together, making out. He could just hear the pounding of his heartbeat, and for some reason, he had a feeling this was the reason his Lady was akumatized.
It didn't really make sense, after all, why would Marinette be mad or upset over him and Lila kissing? Still, just the sight of it made him want to barf. This had obviously not happened. It was a damn illusion, wasn't it? The worst thing yet was that it was on on the news, meaning everyone knew about it now. Dang you, Lila!
After Plagg got his strength back, Chat Noir returned to the fight. He couldn't believe that Marinette could get akumatized because he was supposedly accused of kissing Lila in his civilian form. But this was Marinette the girl with a heart of gold, she's sweet, outgoing, and joyful who's always willing to help others.
