Adrien and Carapace were at Françoise Dupont College waiting for the arrival for Queen Bee and Rena Rouge to fill on them about their ongoing fight with Lady Fortune and Lila hoping that they would return with some good news.

The golden-blonde boy paced around the locker room back and forth. It drove Nino crazy seeing his best friend like this and being a target of a supervillain who used to be their friend. Marinette truly believed what she saw on television was entirely true but if only she knew that the whole truth was a complete lie.

"I should have listened to everyone who told me that this was a bad idea." He gripped his hair in frustration as if everything that happened so far was his fault.

"Dude-, I mean Adrien, don't worry nothing bad is gonna happen, alright?" The brown-haired superhero clasped a hand on the male's shoulder reassuring him that everything's going to be fine.

Queen Bee and Rena Rouge entered the building right on time.

"Hey, so what happened?"

"We tried fooling Lady Fortune into believing that Queen Bee was Adrien, but she kidnapped Lila in exchange for him. She paralysed her. But during the next day, we decided to talk to Lila about why she took a hit for Lady Fortune when she made it perfectly clear that she doesn't like Marinette nor Ladybug."

Chloe continued explaining that Lady Fortune had found them and she wouldn't stop talking about she single-handedly crushed her. She paralysed her again and dropped Lila home after the fight.

Adrien turned around to face the superheroes to inform them of his idea.

"I got an idea on how to deal with Lady Fortune but you need to trust me."

"Unfortunately, there's no way we can do this."

"Fortunately, you're wrong."

The group formed a huddle and leaned in to listen on Adrien's plan.

Chat Noir was standing on top of the Agreste mansion. Adrien was almost hesitant about this plan. He told the others that he would face Marinette in his own without no backup. The heroes thought he had gone mad they all know what's Lady Fortune is capable of. Either way, they wished him luck.

He clenched his fists as his forest green eyes blazed with the courage to bring back Marinette to him. The only girl he loved and she stole his heart. There she was. . . On top of the Eiffel Tower waiting for her prey like a predator waiting to pounce at any moment.

Chat Noir leapt from building to building until he reached the elevator and was on top of the Eiffel Tower.

"Did you miss me? Cause I've really missed you?" He looked at her in the most adoring way.

"I've really, really hope that I heard you wrong." The bug-themed super-villain leaned against playing with her yoyo and look unamused at what Chat Noir had told her didn't phase her.

Lady Fortune turned around and faced him. All these emotions bottled up inside her. Burning rage hissed through her body like a deadly poison, screeching a demanded release of unwanted violence.
It was like a volcano erupting; fury sweeping off her like ferocious waves. The wrath consumed-like engulfing my moralities and destroying the boundaries of her loyalty.

"I was an idiot to ever trust you."

"Lady Fortune, no, Ladybug. I know it's you. I know your identity. I'm here for you and I love you."

"Wow, that's a big surprise. I think I'm going to have a heart attack and die from surprise."

"The thing is. . . I'm Adrien."

"Say what?!" Marinette glances upward, her mouth pursed but slightly open and loose. Her eyes were fixed as if she was looking at something.

"I feel nothing for you. Abosoutely nothing!" She gave him a dirty look as she looked him up and down with her indigo eyes full of hatred.

"You only crawled back to me when you found out that I was Ladybug. You didn't seem to care about me before you knew that." She scrunched up her face in disgust to show how much she despised the boy who shattered her heart.

"This changes nothing, I hate you, Adrien Agreste." Her eyes flashed with indignance and anger, much like lightning on a pitch black night. He couldn't recognize her anymore, the girl he used to know was gone, and it was all because of him.

"You don't really care about me for me if you cant accept me at my worst, what makes you think you can accept me at my best?" Her expression hardened as she glared at the cat-themed superhero as if she was staring into his soul.

"I am sick and tired of being a goody-two-shoes, hoping the boy I adored would even notice me." The stillness between them was so thick you could cut with a knife.

"That's not true. I love you! I'm sorry it took me so damn long to reliaze that?!" Adrien looked up at the girl he still admired gazing at her with his turquoise eyes wishing to see that she would believe him.

"Sorry doesn't fix everythingOh, darling. Go buy a brain. Bye Bye, little kitty." She threw her head back as she let out a chuckle.

He kissed her and the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. His hand rested below her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek as their breaths mingled. She ran her fingers down his spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them and she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest.

When she pulled away, Chat Noir called on his cataclysm and his hand was infused with a dark, destructive energy. He placed his hand on her left earring and the akuma had appeared but it flew away.

"What happened? Chat Noir? No Adrien?" Marinette asked confused as she couldn't remember what she just went through.

"It's ok, Mari. I'll explain everything." Adrien's ring started beeping indicating that he had 5 minutes left before he will detransform.

She sobbed into his chest unceasingly, hands clutching at his jacket. He held her in silence, rocking him slowly as her tears soaked her chest. A tiny lapse let her pull away, blinking lashes heavy with tears, before she collapsed again, her howls of misery worsening. The pain must have come in waves, minutes of sobbing broken apart by short pauses for recovering breaths, before hurling him back into the outstretched arms of her grief.

A small red creature flew out of Adrien's breastpocket, it was Tikki. The blue-haired girl regained her composure as she and her kwami reunited once again with tears of pure joy. As soon as she stated 'Spots on', her body was covered in a red skintight bodysuit covered in black spots and with a black collar. She called on her 'Lucky Charm' and captured the akuma it had now returned to its original form as a white butterfly and flew away back to Hawkmoth's lair.
