It was the marriage that shocked the nation. Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac had gotten married ahead of the Dance in 1996 and they announced their marriage during that tour.

It was also, around that time that they welcomed a little baby girl. Kendall Rose Buckingham. Stevie was forty-nine, almost fifty when their little peanut joined them. Her birth came on May 24, 1997.

However, their fairytale didn't last long because they were stupid and they let their daughter spend the night in the nursery. Sirens and Code Pink woke them up that night...a few hours later there was a nursery nurse knocking on the door with a sad expression. Stevie's heart sank and she let out a heart-wrenching sob as the woman told them that their baby, was the code pink. Their baby was the baby that was stolen from the nursery.  Their sweet little girl. They took it to the police and it eventually made the news. But they didn't have any luck. It was an ongoing investigation that didn't move so it was eventually dropped.

Their missing child wasn't the only heartache they faced. Stevie, suffering from postpartum depression locked herself off from Lindsey and he eventually looked somewhere else. He slept with several up and coming rockstars that had asked him to produce them and when Stevie found out, all hell broke loose. Their divorce was finalized in 2005 and despite everything, they still toured with Fleetwood Mac.

All the way across America in Pittsburgh, a fan of Lindsey and Stevie's, a woman named Pamela Jacobs changed her name to Pamela Rose and raised Kendall like her own. Kendall was known as Kendall Rose, with no middle name. All of her school records were under Kendall Rose. It was in 2013, Pamela was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver and when she moved in with her Aunt Lucy and cleaned out her stuff she found out that she had been kidnapped.

Pamela had a little box with her original birth certificate, Kendall Rose Buckingham born to Stephanie Lynn Nicks-Buckingham, and Lindsey Buckingham, on May 24th, 1998, at 2:02 AM 6 lbs 2 ounces, 20 inches long. Along with that, there were newspaper clippings of the kidnap and Psych records...Pamela had been institutionalized at Cedars-Sinai where Kendall was born from 1990 to the day before she was born.  After questioning Lucy about it, and finding out she had no clue about the whole situation she got itchy. She finished out high school, and for her 20th birthday, Kendall Rose auditioned for American Idol. And she won. It, her first single came out upon the season finale where she was crowned the winner and in 2018 she embarked on her first solo record endeavor.

With everything in the back of her mind, who her real parents were and everything else in her toolbag, she requested to meet with Lindsey Buckingham for him to produce her album.
