Jack's POV
I dropped my lunch tray and ran. I chased Mia through the halls. Damn. That girl was fast. She ran through the long corridor until we reached the bathrooms. And of course, she went in the girls washroom. In which I could not enter. So, I sat out there. I sank down against the wall to sit. The floor was cold. I waited for a couple of minutes. There was OBVIOUSLY another, VERY upset girl in there because there was a lot of loud chitter chatter.
"Mia! Please! Come out, we need to talk!" I called out to her.
"Why Jack? So you can kiss me again? So you can distract me? So I can fall hopelessly in love with you?" She said then immediately stopped after figuring out what just came out her mouth.
"I don't even like you" she said, "We didn't really connect or have anything in common."
'Liar' I thought. I knew we had something in common, plural things actually.
"Don't give me that Mia! You obviously know I like you and I can tell you like me too! We do have a connection! Jeez, you've even got me talking like a sap!" I said to her.
"Can you too take this somewhere else?" The sobbing girl said to us.
"I guess so" Mia said un-assured.
"Come on out Mia" I said.
She walked out of the washroom unsure. We walked through the halls. Talking, about why I was so stupid to do that. Then we moved on to how we were talking on the bus that first day. About our dreams and aspirations and what colleges we want to get into. I am unsure but she knows she wants Harvard. I am crazy about this girl. The only thing I want is for her to feel the same way about me.
