PT 3 Chapter 4

Jisung POV

I covered my mouth, not wanting my tears to fall.

"It's been 4 years, hasn't it been, Sung-ie?" Minho said, turning around.
I desperately asked my tears to not fall, but they failed. Part of me is happy that u finally got to see him after 4 years.. But part of me still can't accept him due to that day. "Jisung.. Please don't cry." Minho said as he walked closer to me. "No! S-stay away fr-om me-!" I said, voice cracking at the end. "You don't know how much pain I was in for the last 4 years, especially after you left. You didn't even bother listening to me! You went and listened to your assistant, not your own husba- no, your ex-husband. Did you know I suffered from depression and I had insomnia? Did you know i tried to suicide myself but I couldn't cause I was CARRYING a baby inside of ME?" I said, raising my tone at some parts.

"Jisung, please listen to me. I didn't know it." Minho said. "No, I have nothing to listen to you. And now you know it. I've only told you half of my problems.. Now, we're plainly just Boss and Assistant. I'm leaving now, I'll just ask someone from the office to tour me." I said and bowed. After that I ran out of the room and straight to the toilet.

I stood infront of the mirror and saw light red underneath my eyes, and they were puffy. I washed my face and I mentally cursed.

Dammit Han Jisung. You fucking idiot! Why did you cry infront of him!? So does that mean I'll be working for HIM for 6 fucking months? Oh great.. Today is really a great day.

After I came out of the male toilet, I went to find someone who works here. "Pretty sure the offices are at the 2nd to 6th floor." I said as I went down to the second floor via lift.

When I got out of the lift, I found a familiar person at the water cooler area. "Huh?" I said, making her look at me. "Oh my, Hannie?" she said.
"Yah Park Jimin! What are you doing here? And that lanyard... Don't tell me you work here?!" I shouted. She nodded to what I said as she raised her lanyard to show me her staff card.

"Yah, can you give me a tour around this company? It was supposed to be someone's job but I ran away from him. Pleasee?" I pleaded her as she gave a sigh and nodded. "Okay okay, after all, my break is starting now." She said and the touring began.

"Jisung-ah, how about you? What are you doing here?" She asked when we were walking. "Oh, I'm the new worker and also Minho's assistant." I said.
"Anyways, this building is super nice!! You know that the 2nd to the 6th floor are offices right? And there are 9 floors." Jimin said.

"Yeah?"

"Yah, let's go see the 7th and 8th floor!!!" She exclaimed. When we reach the 7th floor, I was astounded by what was on this floor. "What in the world is this?!" I shouted. "Welcome to the 7th floor. On the 7th floor, we have a recording studio room and karaoke rooms. We also have 2 VR machines over there beside the Karaoke rooms." Jimin said as she pointed to the VR area. "What the fuck? This is like a small music related floor with 2 vr game.." I said. "Wait, if this floor has these, then the 8th floor?" I questioned Jimin. She grinned and pulled me back to the lift to go up.

When the lift opened, she opened another set of door and went down 3 short flights of stairs. I immediately smelled chlorine and knew what it was.

"Behold, 8th floor.... A swimming pool. And don't worry, there's even showers here!" she smiled. "T-this is huge to be called a 'Company' no matter what.." I said. (I know right. If there rlly is a company out there, I will confirm go.)

"Its the same for everyone in this company when they first came here. They were too shocked. Even me!" She said. "Oh oops! Breaks ending in 15 minutes. Let's go get your staff card." She said and pulled me back to the lift to go up.

"Yah, I don't want to go to his room." I told Jimin. "Yah, just go collect your employee card. Don't worry, I'll come with you." She said. "No I'm not stepping in that room. Yah, can you collect for me?" I asked.

"I can, but either way, you'll have to go in. Did you see another table when you went in just now?" She asked me.
"Oh the plain table you mean?" I said and she nodded. "What's wrong with it?" I asked. "That table is the assistant table. The boss and assistant stays in the same room." She said. "Ah fuck me." I said, irritated.

"So what, not only am I his assistant, but I'm also gonna be in the same room as him for the next 6 months? Well great then.." I said. "Yah, Han Jisung, I know what happened okay? Bang Chan told me. But that's in the past. And who knows? Maybe you'll like him back?" She said. "No.. I will never like him, after what happened that day. I've decided to cut all my feelings for him." I told her. Her face saddened and she muttered an 'oh'.  "But did Channie and the others bring up CEO's name?" She asked. "Nope, and I'm kind of glad. On that day, when the others came back home, Felix explained to them.. And they decided to not say his name infront of me. Although I know they sometimes talk about him, I just closed one eye." I said. (A.N: omg that last  sentence sounds so Singlish omg.)

When we reached his room, Jimin knocked the door and went in. I just stayed outside while listening to what they say.

"Sir, its me, Park Jimin. I'm here to take Jisung- I mean, Mr Han's staff card."She told. "Oh, about that... Tell Jisung his staff card will finish next week." Minho said. "Noted sir, I'll be going now."Jimin said. "Ms Park, can you tell Jisung that I'm sorry for everything? And he can come work next week. Today was just a touring day." Minho asked. "Yes sir, I'll go now." She said and left.

"And that's how it is. You got your answer."She said as he looked at me. "Sorry for what.. I won't accept him." I said. "Thanks for today, Jimin. Then i guess I'll see you next week?" I asked her and she nodded. "Right, then see you next week!" I said and I went back home.

Back home

I opened the front door of the house and saw Chan and Woojin... well, making out.

"Okay okay time to stop you two lovebirds. Or if you wanna continue, do it in your room. It's soundproof after all." I said, making them look at me and Chan glaring intensely at me. "Han Jisung, you cockblocker. I hate you." Chan told me. "You love me." I grinned.

"Why are you back early?" Woojin asked. "Work is starting next week." I said. Felix and the others came out of their rooms. "Oh wow, back already?" Felix asked. "Yeah, today was only the touring of the building." I told them. "Oh, who did the touring?" Changbin asked. "I met Jimin and I asked her to do the touring. It was supposed to be the CEO job to do that but I didn't want him to do the tour." I said. "Why not? Who is the CEO?" Chan asked.

"Hah, the person who left me that day, Lee fucking Minho." I said, with anger in my voice.
