Voldemort's POV
It was a dark night, as you might expect Halloween to be. I had a very important...excursion tonight. I was going to kill the Potter twins. I suppose Neville Longbottom could be the prophesized one to defeat me, but I haven't killed anyone in a while, and I may as well kill two instead of one.
As I walked towards the spot Wormtail had told me to go to, a muggle child wearing a wizard's costume ran into me. Of course, they weren't wearing real wizard's clothes, but I knew it was a wizard costume.
I considered taking out my wand and killing the little boy. It would be all too easy. But every moment I wasted the Potters could be returning home. Wormtail had informed me that the Potters had charmed a cardboard cutout to take care of the children. It would be simple to get past it: Just set it on fire.
I walked past the kid, finally reaching the Potter Mansion. The whole place was heavily warded, but it was no match for me. I managed to break the wards and enter the mansion. I gasped. There, standing before me, was Albus Dumbledore.
I stared at him for awhile. Thankfully, my senses jumped back to me and I raised my wand. "Your move," I told him. But as I took a closer look, I realized it was just cardboard! I nearly had a duel with a cardboard cutout! I set the cutout on fire, then extinguished it after the cutout was burnt. It would do no good to set the home on fire while I was in it.
I continued up the stairs, ready to destroy the twins and anyone else who stood in my path. The stairs were long and tall, as the house was rather big. When I finally reached the top, I saw three boys of the age one and three months. Wormtail had told me this. I didn't really care how old they were, and had told Wormtail so. He has stayed away from me since. I think he's afraid of me, just like the rest of the wizarding world. Just as he should be.
The twins looked up at me from their cribs. The older had red orange hair, "just like Lily" as Wormtail had said. I thought it looked a little like fire. In contrast, his eyes were a shade of blue that got lighter and darker in some parts. He was also a little chubbier than the second twin. His name was Jay Albus Potter. The younger twin (by seven minutes) had hair as black as the night and emerald green eyes that seemed to be searching my very soul. He was thin for a baby, and a certain intensity radiated off of him. That was Harry James Potter. Then there was a boy I knew the twins weren't related to, but Harry and him looked eerily alike. He had dark brown messy hair and striking forest green eyes, that, like Harry's, seemed to be looking at my soul. (I know that's not what he looks like, but I had to change it for story purposes.) Wormtail hadn't informed me Neville David Longbottom was staying over with the twins. Wonderful, more kids to kill. A pleasant surprise.
I used my magic to determine which of the children were stronger. When I scanned Jay, I felt an average amount of magic for his age. I slipped into his thoughts quite easily. When I scanned Harry and Neville I nearly fell over. Magic rolled off of them in waves, no, tsunamis, and it was the strongest I had felt since I learned how to sense magic with the portrait of Salazar Slytherin. Harry and Neville were much more powerful than any witch or wizard in history, likely even Merlin. One of them was the chosen one. But which one? Then I realized I could probably just shove Harry and Neville together and shoot the curse at the middle of the two, thus hitting both.
I raised my wand, ready to use the killing curse.

Harry's POV
I had been living a normal life until Halloween. My name is Harry James Potter, and I am a one year old. I have always been very smart for my age, as I can already talk. Not that anyone knows. I don't wish for everyone to know all of my mental capabilities at this age.
