Chapter 1

I awoke to the sound of Impa yelling at me to "wake up." I just playfully glare at her and yawn dramatically just to annoy her. She arched her brow in a annoyance. She grunted and said.

"Princess (Name) your sister Zelda has already awaken, you should've been awake an hour ago." Impa glared.

"Aww but Impa I had such a nice dream." I stretched my arms out dramatically.

My (hair color) hair fell in my face. Impa softly brushed my hair out of my face and tucked it behind my ear, like a mother would. She grunted once more and pulled away. She looked away almost embarrassed by the motherly touch. I sighed and looked away from her face.

Three years since me and Zelda lived alone in the castle. Zelda was to be queen in a year. Me being a silly princess. For some reason I wanted more than just princess duty's. I wanted adventure and excitement. Maybe my own romance who knows.

"Breakfast was an hour ago I suggest you ask the cook to make you your meal." Impa walked out the door in a hurry.

I sighed as I tossed the blankets of my legs. I look at the drapes and throw them open as the suns warmth tickles my face. I smiled a little and headed to my closet. I throw on my (favorite color) regal dress and put on my (silver or golden) crown. My crown had (favorite color) jewels and a triforce in the middle. I smiled at myself in the mirror and ran out of my room looking for Zelda.

I ran in the halls and saw her walking with Impa outside. They both looked puzzled. I went as fast as I could to catch up to them. They were on a bridge above the training soldiers observing each one closely.

(3rd Person view)

"Impa..." Zelda said.

"Yes Princess." Impa replied.

"I'm worried...about (Name)... I don't know how she will get by if I was gone."

"Hmph... well she is pretty childish." Impa smiled to herself.

They stopped walking. Almost to collect there composure. A summer breeze blew as if it knew the shocking truth.

"Well if we have a bad omen on our hands we must worry." Zelda sighed.

"What?!" (Name) said.

"(Name)?!" Zelda turned around in shock.

"Is something going on!" (Name) shouted.

Impa sighed and stepped forward.

"Princess (Name) it isn't any of your-"

"Impa! Zelda!" A guard came running from the other side of the bridge.

"Yes." Impa stood puffing her chest out.

"M-monsters are headed towards the gates! Hyrule is under attack!"

Impa grunted and turned toward Zelda.

"Prepare for battle Princess."

"Yes.. (Name) stay in the castle. I forbid you to leave." Zelda sighed.

"Zelda I'm not a kid anymore, I can help!" (Name) Argued.

"(Name)! Not another word from you!" Zelda turned to leave.

Tears escaped (Names) eyes as she turned the opposite direction.

(Time skip)

(Name) sat and thought in her room for a bit. She sat on her bed twiddling her thumbs from worry. Monsters where no good sign. On top of a horde of them. It's hard to think of what could happen to her dear sister.

'Maybe I can't help as a princess, but I can help as a soldier.'

(Name) smiled at her little scheme she came up with. (Name) snuck out into the hall hiding from guards that passed by behind a stone pillar in the hall. When she was finally at the court yard she saw a trainee uniform folded neatly on some boxes. (Name) quickly switched out her clothes and threw the royal dress into the crate next to her. She walked out and put her hair in a pony tail. The trainees looked at her and started whispering to each other.

That's when she felt someone put a hand on her shoulder. She jumped and turned to see a blonde man in a trainee tunic.

"May I ask are you new?" He said.

"Uhhh... Y-yeah." She stuttered.

"Oh ok you look a lot like princess (Name)." He whispered to her.

(Name) panicked.

"Hehe I get t-that all the time."

The boy smiled and whispered in her ear.

"You still have your crown on."

(Name)'s eyes widened and her automatic response was throwing it across the field and hit an unsuspecting trainee.

"Umm see I'm not Princess (Name)." A drip of sweat went down (Name)'s face.

"Its ok your secret is safe with me." The blonde smiled.

"Heh so what is your name?" (Name) asked.

"Link and I already know yours." He laughed.

"Heh." (Name) blushed.

"Hey guys did you know Hyrule is under attack, how funny is that?" A trainee said with a cup of beer in his hand.

All you could hear was a distant cough.

"Link I have to help my sister." (Name) whispered to him.

"Don't worry I got your back." Link smiled at her.
