This is just a continuation to last chapter. I didn't plan on last chapter being so long but it just turned out to be that way so I decided to split it up into 2 chapters.

"You wanna go the beach" Paul asked me as he looked outside before he gave the waitress a tip.

"If that's ok with you" I said and he smiled and nodded. "I've never really need around beaches before so whenever I can go I love it" I said and he looked up at me and smiled.

"Your so perfect" he muttered and I smiled and looked down at my lap. He stood up and I followed him. The beach had calmed down a little and there wasn't nearly as many people there since people don't normally go to the beach at night. We were walking the beach talking when his phone rang. He glanced at it and it was a number he didn't have in his contacts. "Do you mind if I answer" he asked me and I shook my head no.

"No it's fine" I said and I watched the waves wash up on the shore as we stopped and he answered the phone.

"Who is this" he asked and it went silent for a while. "I know, I know it's you but I can't talk right now." He sighed and rolled his eyes. "I gave you my number so that we could keep in touch, not so that you could try and call me every day or try and date me." He said "and if why you wanna talk to me is cause you wanna get back with me then you better give up those dreams fast cause I'm currently dating someone and I plan on never being single again." I smiled at looked over at him and he glanced at me and mouthed that he loved me. "Yes I'm sure" he said and then he furrowed his eyebrows. "Why do you need to know that, that doesn't define if we're going to stay together or not" he said and he frowned. "You know what I'll call or text you when I have time" he said and he hung up. "People these days" he said and I laughed.

"I didn't know you intended on this being a long term relationship" I said and he frowned.

"Well didn't you" he asked and he had a hint or worry in his voice.

"Of course I did I just didn't know if you actually wanted to date me after I got drafted and stuff. Don't you think long distance is hard." I said.

"Not when it's with you" he said and I smiled. "I'd never even think about cheating on you" he said and he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. I smiled up at him and he looked down at me. He kissed me and then pulled away. "You wanna go" he asked me and I shrugged.

"I don't really care" I said and he smiled.

"We can stay" he said "unless you've got somewhere to be" he said and I laughed.

"Not that you don't know of" I said and he smiled. We walked the beach hand in hand for a long time.

"Shit we gotta walk back" he suddenly said and I smiled.

"Not unless we run" I said and he smiled.

"First one to where we started" he said and I smiled and I started to run ahead of him. He chased after me and I finished a few steps before him. "That's unfair" he said out of breath. "Running the beach is hard and you started before me."

"Well you never said go" I said and he smiled.

"I guess not" he said while smiling.

"Oh so your dating him" we both heard a familiar voice say and he turned around.

"What are you doing here" he asked her "I thought I told you to leave us alone."

"Well I knew you were gonna come back this way and I wanted to say sorry" she said.

"Well you just did" he said and he grabbed my hand and started to walk away from her.

"You know I can tell everyone about you two" she said.

"And I'll just deny it" he said over his shoulder.

"I don't know about that" she said and she help up her phone and he frowned and let go of my hand and walked over to her. He jerked the phone out of her hand and he looked at the photo that was on it.

"Hmmm that could be anyone" he said as he started typing things in in her phone. "As far as I know that shadow doesn't have to be me or Donovan."

"How would the league react if they found out one if there top ten players was gay" she asked him.

"They're not going to find out" he said harshly.

"And if they do" she said "wouldn't that ruin your image as a player and person. No team would ever want you, they don't want someone who is gay on there team with a whole locker room of fine looking men."

"I've never in my life been attracted to one of my teammates" he said "it's just weird if I was." A silence fell between them for a second. "And its not my image I'm worried about" he said and me and Alex both raised our eyebrows.

"Then whose is it" she asked him.

"You know good and well who's it is" he said and he frowned.

"What if I don't" she said "What if I'm just oblivious."

"I don't know what the fuck your talking about but you know good and well it's the two rookies staying at my house that I'd be worried about" he said and I could tell he was getting really mad by the way his voice sounded.

"Then why are you dating one of them" she asked him.

"I don't know Alexandria, it shouldn't bother you why I am and you shouldn't need to know why I am either" he snapped.

"Oh so your not dating him because you love him, is there another reason you are. Maybe it's because of his good he looks with nothing on" she said. "Or maybe it's because you need someone to fuck over the summer since your to afraid to ask any of your teammates. Do you even really love Donovan" she asked him.

"Leave his name out of this, if this gets out I don't want his name anywhere in it" he snapped and he turned around and walked back to me. "Lets go" he said and I was shocked at how normal his voice sounded. Like none of that had just happened.

"Are you ok" I asked him.

"Oh yeah I'm fine, I'm kind of used to it anyways." He said and I nodded. "Are you ok" he asked me.

"What why wouldn't I be" I asked him.

"I don't know she just said a lot of shit that could tear down someone ego" he said and I smiled.

"Don't worry about me Paul I'm fine" I said and he smiled at me. "Plus I know you love me, and that's all that matters."

"You've got that part right" he said and I smiled at him and he kissed me quickly.
