Arnav starts thinking how to expose Shyam to his family and most importantly to his di but he wasn't able to come to a conclusion. He goes to the hall, meets Akash who was pacing all over the hall. Arnav tells Akash that he's going for a drive and that Akash should try and rest, as he wants Akash to handle the next days' meeting.

Arnav starts driving the streets of Delhi, he goes to the outskirts of Delhi, he keeps crying as he thinks of Khushi & his Di. He shouts in despair and falls to his knees crying. He gets an accidental call from Payal as she's desperately trying to calm down Khushi who's crying in her sleep. Arnav's heart feels constricted and he starts to destroy a few benches on the roadside. In his fit of destruction he destroyed a few plants as well.
Finally when Arnav calmed down he saw that he destroyed a rose plant along with its beautiful roses. He's reminded of his mother who told him never to destroy a rose for the mistakes of thorn. He finally understood what his mother had told him when he was a kid, that never to hurt someone innocent in a fit of rage for the mistakes of another person. Arnav remembered his mother and went to his mother's garden which is full of a lot of flowering plants, some fruit plants and a small cottage. There were a lot of rose plants and orchids around the cottage. Arnav decided to sleep for a while and think with a fresh mind.

Arnav had a disturbed sleep where he dreamt of his mother, his Di's broken marriage, death of his mother followed by Mr. Mallik, how his chacha threw them out of their own home - sheesh mahal, how his nani found both of them on the streets with Shanti maa & Arjun baba & their baby Khush, his lil Angel. It was infact baby khush, his lil angel who saw him sleeping on the streets, next to his crying Di who was requesting people to take him to hospital as he's suffering with high fever. Baby khush saw him lying in the street, slid down her mother arms and ran to him, followed by her parents and his nani.

Immediately Arjun baba took him and his Di to hospital for both their treatments. He got them clothes and told them to wash up. As both the siblings groomed themselves and came in their respective rooms, Shanti maa was arranging food for them, and his Di came to his room followed by nani. Arnav was restricted from getting down his hospital bed as he's suffering with high fever. His nani fed his Di some home cooked food whereas he was fed some khichadi by Shanti maa for easy digestion. He was then given his meds and was ordered to rest. Shanti maa held him while he cried and put him to sleep. Awhile later when was awake he saw that his Di was much better but he still has high fever and his sugar levels were stabilised. At night Arjun baba returned to hospital with some food and baby Khush in his arms. While Shanti maa took food and started arranging dinner for everyone in his room, baby khush slid down her father's arms and ran to Arnav and signed him to take her in his arms. So Arnav got down the bed, took baby Khush in his arms, hugged her tightly and cried his heart out. That was the first time that he cried after his mother's death. Baby khush kept wiping his tears till he calmed down. That night Arjun baba fed him some soup and khichadi and everyone had their dinner. The night was heavy and baby Khush slept next to him on his hospital bed.

The next morning Anjali was discharged who left to the hotel suite booked by Arjun Singh Rathore, along with nani and Shanti maa, and he was accompanied by Arjun and Khush baby as Arnav was advised to be hospitalised for 2 more days. Shanti maa sent meals through HP, Arnav and Khush baby were fed by Arjun. The next day Arjun left to Delhi with his Di and Khush baby as he had an important work and Arnav was taken care by Shanti maa and his nani, and there were two constables in mafti outside his room.

After 2 days Arnav was brought to Delhi by Shanti maa and nani, where Arnav recovered mostly but the void in his heart was always lifted by Khush baby.

Arjun Singh Rathore his mama, a cousin of his mother(like him & Akash), had a love marriage to Shanti Priya Choudhary, a best friend of his mamma from childhood. Their Son Viren Singh Rathore who was an ACP, had expired in a bomb blast 8 years ago. Their daughter Khushi Singh Rathore is 4 yr old now, 10 years younger to him, and was named Khushi by his mamma as the little bundle of joy after her birth gave Chote a lot of happiness which is missing in his life.

Shantivan was peaceful, and Arjun had made a trust fund in Arnav's name and encouraged him to study whatever he wanted. Shanti Priya was a designer and designed most of their clothes. They encouraged Anjali to study further but she wasn't interested. So they helped Arnav in every way possible. Khush baby played with him whenever he had free time and she also joined him whenever his friends came over to study and for sleepovers.

Arnav studied fashion designing and was doing internship in his last semester when his birthday was around. The Rathore's always celebrated the siblings birthdays and never left them alone and always gifted them on their birthdays, which their father when alive failed to do. The siblings started calling their mama, mami as baba & maa. On Arnav's 18th birthday as he sat down for breakfast, a 7 year old Khushi ran to him and signed him to lift her up. Arnav took the baby Khush in his arms, and she wished him happy birthday and kissed him on his cheek. Arjun was a man who always thought ahead for future. Khushi is going to turn 8 yrs old in 2 months time. He remembered the promise his sister Ratna took on the day Khushi was born. Ratna wanted Arnav to marry Khushi to allow at least some happiness in Arnav's life. Arjun saw the beautiful and strong bond between Arnav and his daughter, and came to a decision. That day as Arnav became a major, Arjun made Arnav Khushi's legal guardian and handed power of attorney over all his property to Arnav. Arnav was overwhelmed and he thanked the Rathore's as Khushi was his life and kissed Khushi on her cheeks. He promised to take care of Khushi as long as he's alive.

Arnav woke up from his disturbed sleep with a jerk. It's been 8 years that he had been searching for Khush baby. His family had given up after 3 years and his Di had given up along with the police after 5 years. But he never gave up and was still searching in the hopes that she might be alive till he met Khushi Kumari Gupta who was showing many similarities with baby Khush, but her attire, language were completely different. He's now hoping that his Khush baby and Khushi Kumari Gupta to be the same person as he's been getting the same vibes from KKG. Arnav imagines Khushi before his eyes and then falls into a dreamless sleep.

The next morning had Akash going through the files and leaving early for the meeting whereas the Gupta house looked like it was ready for the storm even before Khushi woke up. Payal and Buaji wanted to break the news to Anjali, but Garima was against it. Payal woke up Khushi who got dressed and on Payal's force had some haldi milk. They went to the hospital for Khushi's checkup. Later Payal left Khushi alone at Shantivan to talk to Anjali on Khushi's insistence as she had to buy groceries and medicines for Khushi. Khushi entered Shantivan and enquired for Anjali to talk to her.
