Kidnapping attempt

Arnav and Akash leave for Nainital in the early hours of the morning along with Aman for the meeting with Mehra's. Before leaving for Nainital Arnav went to buaji's house to meet his Khushi where Payal and Anika were making breakfast whereas his Khushi and Rudy were setting the dining table and playing tag. Arnav met them and informed them that both him and Akash are leaving for Nainital in a few hours. Khushi went and hugged Arnav, Arnav checked her temperature which was 100.8 F. He told Khushi to take a lot of rest and to take medicines on time. He told her he will be back in 3 days and to take care of herself and call him whenever she wants to talk to him. He then feeds her breakfast with his own hands which was witnessed by everyone. Anika secretly took a picture of them and sent it to Shivaay. Payal was happy to see the scene in front of her and she brought her father Shashi Gupta to see them. Shashi Gupta was very happy to see Arnav & Khushi together. Arnav gave Khushi her medicine and promised Khushi that he will be back and told her never to be alone till he comes back. He asked Anika and Payal for their plans for that day as Anika will leave in 2 days. Anika replied that she will take Payal for wedding shopping and then she and Rudy will go over some arrangements. Khushi was to stay home with her buaji and Garima. Arnav asked buaji to not leave Khushi alone for even a bit, as Khushi is still suffering with fever. Arnav had made sure that Shyam will be spending the whole day with his Mami on a shopping spree. Arnav took leave of everyone at buaji's house and gave Khushi a hug and left. Arnav, Akash, and Aman left for Nainital for 3 days.

Zain went for his meeting in Delhi early in the morning and he was busy the whole day, after which he was to go to London by evening flight the same day.

Rudy went along with Anika and Payal for wedding shopping to help them. He didn't want to leave his Anika didi/bhabi alone to do her work. From the time Shivaay and Anika were married, he followed Anika everywhere like a lost puppy. Even at home he keeps her company till Shivaay returns home late at night and there were many instances where he would sleep on Anika's lap or on her hand like a child.
Many times Shivaay and Omkara found the scene adorable but it was difficult to wake Rudy so they would just carry him to his room.

As Anjali was very happy today as her husband Shyam Manohar Jha was accompanying her and maami for shopping which he rarely did.
Manorama maami was waiting in the hall for Anjali and Shyam to go for shopping. She was in a deep thought about Shantipriya di, for whom Shantivan was built and the cute little bundle of joy who went missing during her parents death. Recently she had been also thinking about Khushi who kept reminding her of the missing bundle of joy. She kept wondering if this Khushi and that Khushi were same as Khushi was of same age and since she saw Khushi crying and coming down the terrace that day, she could not erase the scene from her mind. And seeing Arnav try to support Khushi, Manorama understood that there's some thing more than that meets the eyes. She remembered the first day Khushi entered Shantivan by mistake to sell sarees with hand made embroidery. The embroidery reminded her of Shantipriya especially the saree on which embroidery was done by Khushi looked like copycat version of Shantipriya, so in her anger she punched holes in those sarees. Then once again for a function in their home Khushi came to cater sweets, one particular sweet she tried reminded her of Shantipriya, and she didn't want anyone to be of the same top level Shantipriya was in her mind so she destroyed all the sweets and put the blame on Gupta sisters and insulted them.
She was now hoping that if Khushi was Shantipriya di's daughter, then they can bring her to her home. Since the time she knew the Gupta sisters, Manorama could make out the differences in their upbringing - where Payal could converse in English with ease and Khushi can only understand a few things what the other person would say. Even if Khushi could understand most of the things the opposite person would say, Khushi could not speak English.

Finally a smiling Anjali and a sulking Shyam made their way into the hall to leave for shopping. Shyam had sweet talked Anjali into inviting Khushi along with them to shopping and when Anjali informed maami of inviting Khushi along for shopping, Manorama told Anjali to drop the idea as she heard that Khushi is still suffering with fever and started scolding the fraudulent ex fiancé of Khushi making Shyam a bit uncomfortable, which didn't go unnoticed by Manorama.
