"I'm your delivery."

I turned, fashionably slow.

I squealed when I took in the idiot in front of me. Well, not such an idiot. Anyway, he's an idiot I know.

His light brown hair, falling over his forehead, bright blue eyes staring down at me. People who had seen us together for the first time mistakes us for siblings.

"Gee, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Not happy to see me?" A very familiar deep voice drifted to my ears.

I couldn't keep the grin off my face.

A very familiar brunette guy stood before me. He had a light brown hair like me and blue eyes, his a darker shade. People sometimes mistake him for my older brother. Very funny cause I'm older than him with 3 months. What! It's a huge difference.

"Ella is gonna be pissed." I mused.

"Aww, don't worry. I will survive like always." He retorted.

Daniel Vazquez. He was a year our junior in college. He had a huge crush on Ella. We met at a cinema a few minutes walking distance from college.

He may had bumped into Ella and spilled her popcorn on her and unfortunately, her chocolate milkshake on her favorite designer white shirt. Ok!! That was a disaster. I know.

Of course, Ella bit his head off in typical Ella's way.

We, later, started hanging out together. We clubbed and visited bars together on which one occasion when he confessed to me that he might have done it on purpose because she was an uptight bitch. He thought Ella had left for the bathroom. Of course, he was wrong. Ella was right behind him. All these times, I was trying to make him notice, he was too engrossed describing how he came up with his brilliant plan.

He got beaten with Versace purse to coma. Ok, maybe, not coma. It was something close.

They made up but still fight at every chance. I couldn't help but snicker at the memory.

"I hope you booked your room."

"Nope!" He came close and put his arms around my shoulders. "Why will I do that when we have a suit booked?" He said, adding emphasis on we.

"We?", I asked.

"Yes. We!"

Right before you came
I was hollow
Hollow, hollow
It used to be complicated
Now, it's alright, alright
I'm fine

All I gotta do now
Is follow
Follow, follow
It used to be complicated
Now, it's alright, alright
I'm fine

Sigh. My favorite song. Not. Actually, it's Ella's favorite.

Pang!!!

A sound resonated through the suite, followed by a ear-piercing scream. Obviously, Ella's.

I rushed off the bed only to get tangled with the bedspread, which is a daily life routine for me. I'm clumsy.

I know that alright.

I raced to the kitchen where I had heard the scream and came in contact with a gruesome sight. Ella, standing in the middle of it, with a wild look in her eyes.

What! "Ella! What happened?" I asked, scanning the floor with spills of blood. "Are you okay?" I twirled her around, inspecting her for any injury.

"Hey! I'm not okay."

I jumped with a start. I almost forgot Daniel was here. "What happened?"

"Daniel happened." Ella explained, still having that wild look. "I heard some noise. I thought he was a burglar. So I picked a knife and... " she trailed off, her eyes landed on something behind me.

I turned and screamed. Daniel's arm was bleeding. Daniel rolled his eyes and went to wash off the blood by the sink.

"You, two! Stop overreacting. It's just a small cut."

"A small cut definitely, wouldn't bleed like that."

"Exactly." Ella agreed.

I got the first aid kit and dragged Daniel to a stool. I looked at the wound. Just as Daniel said. It wasn't much of a big cut.

"So?" Daniel raised his brow. I avoided his eyes for the fear of being taunted. Once Daniel finds a reason to taunt you, he wouldn't leave you be until you die of embarrassed.

"A small cut definitely, wouldn't bleed like that." He mimicked. I guess, avoiding eye contact didn't help. At all.

"Ow." He rubbed his head where I had hit with a spatula.

"That's for ruining my glorious morning. I fell on my ass while trying to save someone's ass." I announced as I left the kitchen. Ella had already cleaned up the blood on the floor.

"No offense. But you could have fell on your ass anyway." I heard snickerings from the kitchen.

Oh, I'm so gonna pay them for this.
