I looked down at my watch. It was early. I mean it's 9:00am. Way to early, for me actually, that I had to use dark glasses to cover my swollen eyes. I fixed my dark ray ban sunglasses.

I looked down the empty passage, just in case I had woken other people who lived in the building. I knocked on the dark oak door labeled 317, quietly. I wasn't ready to get yelled by an old granny when I should be having my beauty sleep.

I heard shuffling behind the door. I heard soft mutter of swear words. Jandra, finally, opened the door. She looked just as beaten up as I am. But, I could still make out the shock ctossing her tired face.

I would be shocked too. You are woken up on a Sunday morning -your only rest day. You would come out to find a disheveled looking girl, your disheveled looking best friend standing in her pyjamas and flip flops, not a mention her wearing a ridiculously big ray ban sunglasses with her suitcase. I would scream.

She dragged me down inside. "What the hell happened to you?"

I immediately took off my glasses and fell on the couch. I sighed in bliss.

Oh! So much peace and quiet!

"K! What happened?" She inched closer.

"Just really, really sleepy." I drawled. "I will tell you the details when I wake up."

"Come sleep on the bed then."

"Nope! Even this couch is better than being in Vazquez super soft bed."

I saw her raised her brow, her twitching in amusement. "Vazquez is involved. That's gonna be so interesting." She mused, then headed towards her room, probably, to continue her sleeping session.

I closed my eyes and let the goddess of sleep take charge. I, so, needed it.

I woke up in my bed at the Ruiz Mansion. I stretched my cramped muscles because of the uncomfortable position I slept in.

My mind wandered to the dream, no, nightmare I just had. It felt so real. I couldn't barely differentiate the nightmare from reality. I thought he actually did embarrass me.

It's funny how one's fear can turn into a nightmare sometimes. He did ask why my accent was different. He did make small talks with much to my family's dismay. They probably thought I was gonna ruin things for them. Not to worry, it did cross my mind.

Dinner, surprisingly, ended on a good note, with only three people happy with me. My new friend, Aubree, Charlie and Hot perv. It's not like I care actually.

We were done eating around 10pm. I went upstairs to change out of Helena's dress. I heard the clicks of her heels as Helena hurried up the stairs to catch with me. I, being the smarter one, had already removed my heels, clutching them tightly in my hands, to aid running. I even thought I heard her fell off the stairs. I didn't bother to check. Our parents will check on her. Or, maybe because I was in front of my room.

I hurried in my room and looked the door. I flopped onto my bed, letting out an audible sigh. I heard banging behind my door. When Helena got tired she left.

I hadn't know I had fallen asleep until a loud ringing woke me up. By the time I had managed to get up. The call had ended.

Not bothering to check, I went back to sleep.

Sometime later, I heard a chime from my phone. I reluctantly picked it up. It could be a very important client.

Come quickly. I think Daniel blew up your apartment. -Ella
