I'm finally going to go on a more serious mission: deal with a huge corruption outbreak. It is in a shopping mall. Everyone there is corrupted, the building is heavily damaged, and the Corruption Wyvern is sitting on the roof. I was assigned to go together with Ryuichi, Sora, Sakura and Serenity. All five of us. Our goal was to defeat the Wyvern, de-corrupt everyone there, and make entrances for the repair team. When we were there, I immediately understood how serious the situation really was. We found the entrance to the underground parking lot. It was open. We went inside. We saw debris everywhere, destroyed cars, corrupted people...And beings of corruption! They were purple and black people with glowing purple eyes and purple smoke coming out of them! The beings immediately attacked us, but we fought them off. But they were so hard to defeat! And they summoned tentacles, fire, lightning, every hazard you can think of! After cleansing the parking lot, we proceeded to the first floor. The escalator wasn't working, so we just went up it like a regular flight of stairs. On the first floor, there were products scattered everywhere, debris, corrupted people, beings of corruption, and even a corrupted floor polishing machine riding around on it's own, knocking down everything in it's way! I first didn't want to attack the machine, but decided to smash it. I grabbed it and threw it at the wall. We defeated all the corrupted zombies and the beings. But we were extremely tired and weak after cleansing the first floor. But we didn't give up; Serenity called the base to send reinforcements. 25 soldiers came to help us. On the next floor, there was even more chaos, because the toys from the children's store have come alive because of corruption and were attacking us too. But we successfully got rid of them. The real trouble was with the life-sized plushies. They constantly tried to smother us with their 2-meter-tall fat fluffy bodies. But we managed to stop them using...well...flamethrowers. Yes, we have these too. The toy store was in ashes when all the enemies were defeated. The other stores weren't as much trouble, hopefully. But the higher we went, the more beings of corruption were there. The enemies became stronger, too. It was like the closer we were to the Wyvern on the roof, the stronger the corruption energy became. When we finally reached the giant dragon, we had to send in attack helicopters. It was defeated, though, with the combined efforts of the pilots of the helicopters, the tanks, us soldiers, and some explosives and anti-aircraft missiles. Mission accomplished? Not yet. The Corruption Kindred appeared! The red-haired man from before! He was so powerful, we had to retreat. Everyone tried to escape. Most of us did...not including me.
