Chapter 11: No right
Neivan and I went into the party's venue. When we entered the function room, the place was decorated well. Blue balloons, flowers and everything looks so pleasing to the eyes.
My eyes began searching for the only blue thing that I cared for. Her blue hair.
"Marco!"
And there she was, wearing a white lace blouse paired with a black pants. Her hair tied in a bun.
"Kalira" tawag ko sa kanya
"Tara! Dun ang table natin" sabi niya at hinila ang aking kamay papunta sa table sa harapan ng stage.
"Marami rami narin ang tao ah" komento ni Neivan na nakasunod sa likod namin
"Yup, actually sila Esran nalang ang hinihintay natin. You know her, always the late one" she giggled
Crystal, Larkin, Miles, Blast and Nich is already sitting at our table.
"Di ba pupunta sila Alystra?" Tanong ni Neivan
"Ikaw Van ha? Bakit mo hinahanap si Alyst? May Eleven na yun" kantyaw nila Crystal kay Neivan
"Shempre! Hindi na nga sila nakapunta sa grand reunion natin, kaya shempre hinahanap ko rin sila, at hindi lang naman si Alystra ang hinahanap ko, pati rin naman si Eleven" Paliwanag ni Neivan
Nagkaroon kasi ng past yan si Neivan at ang kaibigan naming si Alystra.
"Palusotttt" sabat ni Esran na nasa likod na pala namin.
"Sorry nalate na, si Esran kasi" sabi ni Melo at nagpeace sign
"Okay lang" sabi ni Kalirea sa kanila at ngumiti
"Guys, may girlfriend na ako. Please wag niyo na akong asarin kay Alystra" sabi naman ni Neivan
"Sus! Si Nisha? Akala ko ba nagkakalabuan na kayo?" Tanong ni Larkin
"Nako Van! Ano na namang ginawa mo?" Sigaw sa kanya ni Kalirea
"Wala!"
"Hays! Sige na, maupo na kayo. We'll start na" sabi ni Kalirea at nagpunta sa stage, habang kami naman ay naupo na.
Kalirea is at the stage, she turns the mic on and smiled.
"Good evening everyone!" She beamed, gathering all of our attentions
"We have gathered here today to celebrate Xyrene's birthday. Why? Because why not? This is a special day for her and since she couldn't celebrate with us any longer, we'll just do it for her" sabi ni Kalirea
"It has been a long rough year without her in our lives. I miss her so much. We all do, right? Let's all remember her today" she said and I could tell that she's trying to hold her tears back.
"Me and her family prepared this event and we also prepared a video presentation." She said as the lights close and the screen lit up.
The video started.
It was a video of Xyrene when she was kid. She's at the stage, at a beauty pageant.
