Will and his gang had no clue where Rogue and Lasagna had gone. They had no choice but to head back to the Sheriff's office of Littlecliff and talk to North. So they did exactly that.
May 2nd, 1900 - Sheriff's Office (Littlecliff)
The gang entered the building. Upon their entrance, North instantly rose to his feet with a beaming smile.
"You did it!?" He asked, hopefully. Will hesitated for a second before shaking his head in solemnity."No... they escaped" Will said. North's expression instantly degraded down to a frown and he sat back down with his face in his hands, "We don't have time to complain though. We need you to find out information of their whereabouts immediately."
North nodded in agreement and instantly walked to a back room.
May 3rd, 1900 - Cattlebrook
Rogue and Lasagna were walking through the town, making sure to keep a low profile. Luckily, Cattlebrook was a more closed town, where news didn't tend to arrive at, so they were mostly safe.
The two were in need of money now, both losing a lot from their expenses on ammo and horse provisions. Naturally, they both agreed on robbing a store. It wasn't like this was a huge deal to them at all. This was just an average activity they did every now and then, and managed to keep their identity hidden using bandanas or the method of bashing the heads of those they rob to damage their memory, or in more drastic situations, kill them altogether.
They walked into a store, bandanas already tied around their heads and guns cocked and aimed at the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper was an innocent, and smart woman. She raised her hands in fear. In most situations, this would work to survive and prevent anything terrible from happening, just to allow the robbery to happen, rather than risk your own life just to protect some money. In this situation, it was different. Rogue went behind the counter and pulled her out from behind, throwing her onto the floor behind them. He signalled for Lasagna to start taking all the money and all the provisions she could take from the store.
While she did that, Rogue was busy with the shopkeeper. He kicked her on the ground, beating her around the floor. As she tried to crawl away in pain, he would grab her by the hair, throwing her across the room again. He then picked her up, slamming her against a wall and punching her in the stomach. He then pulled out a knife and gave a quick stab to her abdomen, and sheathed the knife again.
She shrieked in pain, but still held onto life as much as she could. Rogue was not happy about this, and threw her onto the floor. She tried to support herself with her hand and looked up to Rogue with an extremely pained expression. Her black eye, highlighting the agony in her. Rogue pointed his gun to her head.
But he hesitated. As he looked at her for a second before he was about to shoot, a montage of memories flashed through his mind. The eyes. Her voice. Her hair. Her bravery and kindness.
He recognised her. And that's when he flashed back to 1889. He remembered her from the time he went to shop for beef in the store, for his mother, who was now long deceased.
He hesitated for a moment, and his pupils dilated as his hands started to shake. But he was snapped out of it as Lasagna tapped him on the shoulder.
He shook his head quickly, before squinting his eyes, remembering who he was.
And after a brief hesitation and montage of dreadful memories, the hole in his hand became identical to the one in the shopkeeper's head.
