Queen Tamira is a warm hearted person. She is the nicest queen the people ever had(the people say) she also wasn't a royal blood either, she was a poor peasant that King Tony fell in love with. He said it was love at first sight. When the king and the Queen figured out they were expecting a baby the kingdom rejoiced and once the baby came they decided that the name would be Kennedy.
The whole kingdom was happy until one night King Tony and Queen Tamara laid Kennedy down in her crib and went to sleep and as they were sleeping they heard a noise and they woke up to see a stranger at the baby's crib. They screamed for the guards, but saw a light in the crib and the stranger disappeared into thin air. The King and Queen walked to the crib to see the ones black-haired baby hair glow and then turn hazel and eyes turned from brown to Hazel.
They went to the doctor as quick as they could but the doctor said she was fine even though she look different from what she really was. The King and Queen didn't do what most royal parents would do by closing all access to the outside world but she had the guards make sure she didn't go outside of the castle premises.
The King and Queen was looking for anything out of the ordinary but nothing happened. The years flew by but at the age of 6 Kennedy was walking around the Castle Garden and set a bush on fire. With no matches but with her hand. The fire did not spread but it was almost as if she was controlling it. She looked at her hands and fear and couldn't possibly think it was her who could've done this. She turned to the other bush and tried to set it on fire and it happened. She started the fire. The guards brought her in quickly and her eyes had turned orange. The king and queen then closed all the doors to the outside world until they figured out what's going on. So they went to the library, found a map to a place no one dared to go. .. The Sorcerer's cave.
It's in the middle of a dark fearsome forest where ogres and many many more things that will eat humans alive.
The King and Queen went without their daughter and went with some guards on horses to the Sorcerer's cave ( no royal carriages just horses). They had no trouble going there. Then when they got to the Sorcerer's cave it was dark and smelled like herbs and death. "Who goes there...." said the Sorcerer.
"Um the king and queen of the overlands." Explained the King.
The Sorcerer smiled and said 'come.' They went inside and saw voodoo dolls, potions, animal parts, masks, and more.
"What do you want!" Said the witch meanly.
"Our daughter, she has fire powers and when she was little, well a baby some stranger came and gave her hazel hair and eyes. Then her eyes turned orange when she accident-"
" ahah! Your daughter is legendary fire princess!" said the sorcerer.
" wait what?" Said the Queen
"Yes, there was a prophecy written years ago that said one day a Flame Princess will arise and save us from a great danger. Although I don't know what that danger is... Well ok bye"
"Wait!! How can we help her with her powers." Asked the king.
"First you must figure out what triggers her powers and if its emotions, fear will be the enemy. Ok now go!" The sorcerer said really fast as he pushed them out.
"Well then...."said the Queen.
Once they got back to the castle they closed all windows and doors to the castle.
"What triggers your powers sweetie?" Asked the royal therapist to Kennedy.
" um I have no idea what you're talking about and what does trigger mean?" Asked kennedy.
" what makes your fire powers go off." the therapist said.
"Well when I'm mad I can't control what happens, and my eyes turn orange. When I'm sad I make little fire flurries in the air, when I'm calm or happy my eyes stay hazel and I am in complete control."
