The butler then started to take Jack to the library.
"Why are you taking me here?" Jack said curiously.
"Well there is a map inside one of the books. I could use that map to help you get to where you need to be."
Jack looked at the butler confused.
"Plus one of my close friends live there. Also while you're gone what do you expect me to do here! Stand at the door waiting for you to come in."
"Ok, what else do you do when I'm not here?"
"That is for me to know." The butler smiled.
Jack and the butler finally arrived at the library and the butler started to look through the many shelves.
"Ah here it is!" The butler held a large book that had a little bit of dust on it and had a brownish tint to it. He blew the dust off, opened the book, and took a map out of one of the pages.
"Okay lets head out!" Jack said as he pointed his index finger toward the door and began to run out. Soon after the butler began to follow. Once they both headed outside the butler went to go get the horses.
"Wait, I'll be right back I just need to check on Kennedy!" Jack said with a grin on his face.
"Ok but hurry sir!"
Jack left to Kennedy's room and once he got there he looked puzzeled. Kennedy was still asleep but she was pale and had dark circles under her eyes. She was also sweating a lot. He ran to Kennedy's side and felt her forehead....it was burning hot.
"Kennedy! Kennedy!"
"What!" Kennedy said moaning and turning over to the side.
"Wait- it is you right?" Just as Jack said that Kennedy turned around and her eyes had turned completely black.
"No fool!" Kennedy said with a doubled voice.
"Okay....I gotta go!" Jack ran out of the room and got the coffee table from the hallway and a few other things and barricaded the door. Then ran downstairs and outside.
The butler saw how nervous Jack looked.
"Are you okay sir?"
"Ah we should go. Like now."
Jack and the butler got onto their horses and left. Jack followed behind the butler while the butler followed the map. They rode for about half an hour and finally got to the place the butler wanted to go. Jack looked at the place confusingly. It looked sort of like a run down tavern. Jack got a little scared about going into the old looking place but he womaned up and went inside along with the butler. Halfway to the door the butler put out his arm to stop Jack.
"Whatever you do DON'T look her in the eyes. Ok!" The butler said sincerely.
"Why?"
"That is for me to know and you to find out."
