Kennedy ran to her parents room and saw two dead bodies on the floor at the door. The stranger had killed two royal guards. She turned to her left and saw her parents tied up in a corner, she stood surprised for a second but then untied them.
Kennedy then ran back to the balcony to help Jack, and her parents followed.
Once Kennedy got to the balcony she saw Jack laying on the ground in agony and in pain. The sight of it made Kennedy sad and angry. She looked at the stranger with tears making her way down her face. Her eyes turned orange, and fire forming in her hands.
The stranger knew he screwed up but it was too late. Kennedy shot some fire at the stranger in the stomach. He then fell off the balcony to his miserable death.
Kennedy fell to Jacks side and started to talk to him.
"Are you ok?"
"I have something to tell you."
"What?"
"I'm immortal."
Kennedy looked at him angrily and her eyes turned orange again.
"No you're not you're bleeding."
Jack lifted his shirt and his wound quickly disappeared. Kennedy couldn't help herself, she gave Jack a kiss. At first he was surprised but then he began to enjoy it.
Then everyone heard footsteps in the hallway.
"I don't think those people are guards." Jack said.
"Quickly, you guys must go! They are after Kennedy!" The Queen said in a rush.
"What do you mean?" Kennedy said confused.
"No time to explain. Jack I am trusting you to take care of our daughter. Bring her back when everything is good." The king said sadly.
"How will we know?" Kennedy asked.
"Trust us. You will know." The Queen said.
Kennedy hugged her parents and said goodbye. Then Kennedy and Jack quickly packed a few things and left on a horse with no carriage.
