Perfect it's a date

The bell finally rang signaling freedom. I quickly packed my books and sped out the classroom down the hall to my locker.

Once I reached my locker I quickly packed the books I needed and jogged to the one place where Regina wouldn't find me, the library.

I didn't have time for Drama and fighting because all my energy was drained from my English poetry lesson.

I entered the library and went between two aisle towards the back.

What have I done, to myself! I just fudging, Gosh, ahhh!!!  I sigh really loud.

"Shooo!!"

"I'm so-"

"Shoo!!"

I lean against the shelves and slowly slide down to the ground until I'm sitting. Resting my head on the shelves. I slowly start to drift off to sleep thinking.

Why is life so complicating....

xxx 3 hours later xxx

"EXCUSE ME!!"

"Wh...What," I jump up from where I was napping and hit my head on the shelf above it.

"Oww.."  I say rubbing my head.

"Your such a cute, clumbsy girl," The lady in front of me says very humorously.

I look at the lady, while my eye sight is focusing and realise that it's  Mrs. Dannimore the librarian. She has a smile on her face and is trying to hold back a laugh which she's terribly failing to do.

"The library is closing now,"

"Wait, it can't be I arrived here at 14:00 and was only out for 30 minutes how can you be-"

"Nope, you were asleep for 3 hours, its 17:00 now, look," She pulled out her hand and showed me her watch. It was exactly 17:00 which ment Nikki and the others went home. Which means no ride home for me.

"Ok, thank you Mame" I say politely and leave the library.

I was walking up the street when I heard a car honk at me.  I was just about to turn around and pull the middle finger at the perveted driver when I heard a familiar voice call me.

"Laura!"

I turned around and saw Matt in his Audi A4 driving up to me and hooting. He pulled down the window and smiled at me, with his million dollar smile that all the girls go gaga for.

"Hop in. I can't have a pretty, defenseless girl walking home alone at the break of sunset."

" Thanks," I say smiling like an idiot. I open the passenger seat and go in.

"Just go up the street and turn left. I'll tell you when we reach my house," I say calmly, while inside my mind is freaking out!!!

He just called me pretty... Me.... Out of all girls me... I swea-

"Hey, what are you thinking about?"

He says snapping me out of my thoughts. I look up at him, then away and smile. Gosh, if he were a god he would the god of beauty dang this boy is fine. I reply shyly looking away,

"Oh nothing..." I swear if I was white my skin would be as red as a tomato but thank the Lord he made me Black!

"So... You didn't reply to my offer..."

"Wait... What.... Oh that offer," I say realising what his talking about.

"Well... I... Wait, stop here," He stopped the car right in front of my house and cut the engine. He turned to face me with a serious but nervous face expression.

I desperately wanted to say no to see his reaction but the boy was too dang cute I couldn't.

"Sure, Matt I'd love to go out with you," I say as confidently and calmly as I could.

Even though in my mind, fireworks were going off and I was doing a happy dance.

"Ok, this Friday, at 17:00 to 22:30 pm,"

"Perfect, its a date..."

Shit did I just say its a date. Oh Fuck my life!!!

"Yes, it is beautiful Laura," he grabs my hand and kisses it softly.

I felt butterflies all over me. I smiled at him and got out of the car. I walked to the front door turned around and waved at him. He waved, hooted and then left. I entered the house and closed the door behind me.

"Hey, Laura How was school,"

"Good," I say while running up to my bedroom. I checked my phone and saw 8 missed calls from Nikki I decided to ignore them and talk to her later on tonight or tomorrow morning about everything that happened today.

I go into my bathroom and took a quick shower. I changed into my Minny Mouse PJ's then took out my homework. I was trying to focused on my Physics and English homework but couldn't. When I looked at my English I thought about Matt and when I looked at my Physics I thought of Jared.

Gosh, this going to be a long year.
