Laura's POV

I walked through the passage, to my locker to find my best friend Nikki, leaning against it talking to some guy. As soon as I got closer the guy left.
"Nikki, what was that about?"
"Nothing, just the usual, will you go out with me crap," she said examining her nails.

The thing with Nikki is that she's one of the prettiest girls in school and gets asked out 24/7 but I'm not surprised because she's tall, with long beautiful brunette hair. Tanned skin and an amazing hourglass body. I've always envy her for her looks, body and especially her height. You see I'm quite short, about 5,6-5,7. While most people are between 6-7 at my high school and I'm a bit heavy on the hips and thighs, with big boobs, but I've never really cared about my looks and body cause I actually like my body I've just cared about my height.

We walked together to our first class which is Physics and sat in the front row. The teacher walked in soon after and began his lesson. The lesson was really boring because we were learning about electricity and all the charges and stuff.

Me and Nikki went our separate ways to our next class because she had Design and I had Biology. I was walking through the passage checking out my Facebook wall when I collided with something hard and fell to the ground.

"Oh shit! Sorry," I hear a very deep and sexy voice say. I felt his hand hold mine, which sent small shivers up my hand. He then hoist me up very easily.
"Hey, are you ok?"
"Yeah I'm fi-" I looked up at the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. They where light brown. His light freckles on his face made him look cute but his body screamed hot. He was very lean and muscular I wondered what it was like to be held in his arms. Then I realised who these eyes, body and face belonged too. They belong to Matt Greyan, the most popular guy in school, the head of the football team and every girls crush. His also the boyfriend of Regina Purks... The biggest slut in our school. She is every guys dream and every girls night mare.

"Your name is Laura, right?"
I can't believe he actually knows my name... I thought that his never acknowledge my existence because his never had a conversation with me or ever said hi.
"Yea...yeah, and yo...your Matt of course," I stutter. Gosh, I hate it when I do that in front of a cute guy. I wish I was more confident.
"Yeah, Laura I-"
"Sorry, Matt but I have to go to class before I'm late, bye" I say cutting him off and dashing down the passage before he could say what he wanted to say.

But I have a feeling he was going to ask me out or something....

Who am I kidding his a Jock and I'm a... Ok I'm not a geek but I'm not popular... I'd say I'm average and he has a girlfriend...

I sulked as I made my way to the lab,and  just made it  in time, but had to seat at the back because all the desk where taken. In the middle of the lesson, Jared walks in looking bad ass as ever.

"Mr. Stiles, why are you 30 minutes late," the teacher asked him. He shrugged his shoulders.
"For being late and rudely disrupting my lesson, I'm sending you to detention for the next two Friday's and one Saturday detention. Now take your seat,"

He walks to the back of the class, and instead of seating at the seat by the window as usual he sat next to me. I could feel my breath go uneven and that there was some weird attraction I had for him just from him seating next to me.

"Ok class, turn to page 102, read the information than do the experiment with your partner."
I took out my book, flipped to the page and started reading. While I was reading I felt a small tap on my shoulder. I stopped and looked up at him. As soon as I looked into his eyes my mind wondered off. His eyes were so fascinated they were hazel with a bit of green.

"Can we share textbooks, I left mine at home."

"Su...Sure" I say stuttering again. We read the page and started the experiment. I dropped my pen and reaching to pick it up. He also reached for it and grabbed the same time I did. I felt these weird shivers go up my hand by the contact.

He let go and continued writing his observation.
Once were both done the bell rang signaling it's Lunch. I packed my stuff, and left. I walked through an empty hall way because when it's lunch, the hall way clears in less than 5 minutes and everyone's in the cafeteria.

I open my locker and stuff my books into it, just before I was about to take out my English books I felt a two hands casually hold me by my waist. The person holding me leaned forward and whispered in my ear, with this slurring voice
"You forgot something Laura," I then realize it's Jared. He slips one hand off and uses it to place my book into my locker still keeping the other hand on my waist. I felt goosebumps up all over me from his touch.

I turned up at his face and stared into his eyes, watching him study me. He leaned down towards me and I slowly got onto my tippy toes to reach him. He leaned closer and just when our lips were about to touch. He smirks, misses my lips and goes straight to my ear and whispers.

"Not, yet Beautiful"

Turns and walks away from me.

I feel myself going hot. I can't help but feel so embarrassed.
What the hell just happened!! I never ever let a guy touch me or try to kiss me. But for some reason I let him.... What's going on today.... First the Jock and now the Bad Boy?
