Short dark hair, dark blue eyes and fair skin. She stood there in her ship board barracks, staring at her uniform, wearing only her standard issue undergarments. It was like staring deeply into dark mass such as the infinite vacuum that surrounded the ship. There was surely a lack of stars.
Lusica Stynnix was still dumbfounded as she found herself transferred under a new command. She could hardly believe what had happened to the Supreme Leader, Snoke, she was still in shock.
The First Order had revealed itself to the galaxy, yet in a matter of days, things changed too fast for her to take account of. After the nightmarish event that destroyed the one hundred sixty kilometer wide warship, the resistance was being far larger than just a flea in one's hide. They were putting up a true fight! Before they had even destroyed their mobile headquarters, the resistance had even destroyed Starkiller base.
They even had a real Jedi, a woman, a powerful one at that.
She had worked so hard to become the lieutenant she was prior to this transfer. And following the death of Supreme Leader Snoke, she wound up here, only to find herself instantly promoted to Lieutenant Commander. It wasn't something she expected, there hadn't even been a review!
How and why was this happening? It felt too good to be true.
This place, this remote posting in a fleet in the middle of nowhere. What were they waiting for?
These questions were ones she would never be able to verbalize to anyone else. Questioning orders, questioning the future, she wasn't at the rank to ask these things.
Her head snapped to the side, looking at the mirror which outlined her underdeveloped features. A frown formed over her lips. The First Order was known for their selective breeding, perfection was one of its many obtainable goals.
She was a young adult, but she wasn't old enough for direct combat. As these thoughts came to mind, she scowled at her reflection. Then her gaze returned to the dark cool-gray uniform.
Pulling her double breasted tunic from her locker, she pulled it over her undergarments and fastened her trousers. She'd fix the tunic over top and bind the collar after buttoning the breast flap. Taking her belt, she fixed herself up to look prim and proper, professional and orderly, as a member of the First Order's Navy should appear.
Patting the skirting of her tunic as her eyes danced away from her locker, she narrowed her sights on the datapad beside her bed. The admiral's dossier was outlined, a picture of an above average looking human with sharp traits. Pale green eyes, pale peach complexion and black hair, completed with a mustache and goatee.
The man was a looker, but it wasn't his picture which had taken her attention.
Admiral Fenris Knox based on his available dossier he was one of Snoke's Hands, and was an exiled Jedi who sealed himself away in carbonite to escape the Jedi Order's Dogma. He chose to join the First Order Navy, out of sight and out of mind.
Though many couldn't just ignore an admiral appearing out of nowhere. It was similar to a repetition of Gallius Rax except this man was no Sith cultist.
As her mind returned to the events of this particular week... Just the day before, the Fleet Executive Officer, the second-in-command, attempted to start a mutiny against the Admiral. He planned to expose their location to the Resistance, and during the ensuing battle, assassinate him while he was distracted. Disorder had already almost taken the fleet, but with forewarning to her superior who she believed to be in great peril, it was furtherly averted.
Pulling her leathery ink black gloves over her digits, she slipped her dainty feet into the hard leather boots at the foot of her locker. She didn't speak aloud to herself, but her dissatisfaction with the state of the fleet was definitely apparent on her stern exterior.
