Still the same, I see.

By the time I arrived at the faculty, it was a bit windy that my hair becomes a mess. The weather's so nice with enough warmth from the sun, but the wind was unexpectedly strong. As I was fixing my hair, I looked around the faculty to some other students and the environment. Some are laughing on the outdoor tables, some are apparently crowding the vending machine trying to purchase some juice or coffee. I find peace in this kind of situation. I might not be talking to anyone, but seeing everyone at their best state, laughing and talking makes me realize that life still got some spices left, and it still affects me in one way or another.

Realizing that I've been standing at one spot, looking at people for way too long, I started to pull my legs forward to go to the lecture hall and find myself a seat before it gets too crowded.

...

"Okay, that's all for today. Please don't forget to do the activities online. I'll upload it before 5 pm today, and I expect you guys to finish it before out class next week... Oh, and you guys should go to the gym today after this, apparently, our volleyball team got a practice match with one of the former powerhouse. I believe there are some cute guys around, so it's a bonus for the girls. Okay, dismissed." The lecturer went out as smooth as his lecture, no turning back nor another word. Some of the girls are already squealing, while the guys just continue on packing their stuff, same as me.

"Cute guys, huh..." I thought while stuffing all my things in my bag.

I stood up and make my way outside the hall, going to the gym. I see some people are going to the same place as me. Guess that 'cute guys' really have some sort of mystical power, to be able to attract people when it's just a practice match. I just followed the people in front until I arrived at the gymnasium. As for now, it smells like Air Salonpas and other perfumes that I assumed from the other students and spectators instead of the players. "Just wait until the match ends, by that time the air will smell like pheromones and thick sweat... Eww", I mumbled without realizing it. Good thing no one realized, so I just chuckled at myself and try to find myself an empty seat. And that empty seat happens to be behind the visiting team.

"... Tori...no?", I said wondering when someone beside me corrects me. "It's actually Karasuno, the former powerhouse team in our region..." It was a man, bespectacled and his hair are split in the middle. He actually looked quite proud when correcting me. "Ahh, I'm sorry. I'm still having problems with Kanji and its actual pronunciation." He just smiled at me, saying "It's okay". I then took my seat two seats beside the man, while waiting for both teams to finish warming up. Just then, I saw a banner, with Kanji painted on it, which is 'FLY'. The man just now was then joined by another guy, blonde-haired, most probably dyed and started waving a flag same as the banner.

"Ah, I sat on the wrong side of the court..."

I was planning to stand up to change sides, when I heard a solid sound of a ball being spiked followed by a guy's voice claiming it hurts in an annoying sound.

A guy was pouting, most probably the captain of Seijoh's team since they were on the opposite side of the court and the number on his jersey is lined, meaning he is the team's captain. Frankly, I liked all kind of sports. But I'm not quite familiar with our university's volleyball team as I don't have the time to come to their practice match to watch or whatsoever. And also, from just now, it looks like Seijoh's captain is annoying. Don't hate me, I have my own ruler to label someone as annoying or not. But, it's not like I hate him. I haven't met him yet.

"Finish your warm-up, the match's starting. Stupid Bakakawa..." The guy who ACTUALLY spiked the ball, with his ripped arms, on this Bakakawa's head snapped at him, earning chuckles from other members of the team. As much as I tried to remember, that guy who has hella ripped arms looks really familiar. Scowling face, tanned skin. So familiar, yet so alien.

I then looked at the ... hmm... Oh, Karasuno team members. They looked relatively shorter in height compared to Seijoh, especially since there's a shorty in the team. Their captain looked like someone's reliable, with good looks too. Then, I was reminded by the lecturer's mention of cute guys. But, instead of cute, he was actually handsome. Good-looking even. The others are average but still considered good looking too. A baldie and a shorty with a lock of blonde hair on the middle of his forehead started shouting, making me caught off-guard by them. I continued to scan through the player until I saw a familiar head and face.

"Are my eyes lying to me now?"

I was trying to get a better view of the head when the whistle blows, shocking me. Players from both teams got ready to play. I then just let myself relax, while focusing on the game, and thinking about meeting the owner of the head just now.

...

Karasuno lost to Seijoh by 1-2. It's been a while since I was standing at the entrance of the gym. Every other spectators and student have already left the gym, leaving only both teams to clean the court. 10 minutes later, Karasuno team members are walking towards the door, making me nervous the nearer they are to the door. Too nervous, I turned around, back-facing the door from the side, hyperventilating when they walked past me. By the time I turn around, they were already 10 steps away from me, making me nervous again. As an involuntary response, I run to them while shouting, "Oi Tobio!!!"

I guess it was too loud since all the team members turned around to see me, running at full speed like an ogre. Tobio turned towards me, shocked from the shout.

"Huh?! (Y/n)?!"

I was so embarrassed that I just crashed to him, hugging him tightly while hiding my face on his chest. Letting out a muffled "I missed you" on his chest, I kept my hands around his waist. Some sounded like they're shocked, making me much more afraid to pull myself off him. I don't want to see their faces, shocked when an unknown lady hugged their setter. Suddenly, my hug was reciprocated. Tobio leaned to my left ear, saying "I missed you too..." ever so softly, making me smile on his chest.

We stayed that way until someone shouted "Kageyama has a girlfriend! And she's pretty! And we don't even know about it!!!" Both of us were shocked, letting go of each other on impulse. I turned to the source of the voice, the baldie from before. I smirked at him.

Tobio then pulled me by the shoulder, while looking at the baldie. "She's not my girlfriend. She's my childhood friend. And she's still as impulsive as always", he said and turned to me, smiling like a creep.

"Ah, yes. I'm sorry for shocking all of you. My name is (Y/n) and I'm Tobio's friend. And yes, you're still the same as always Tobio. Stupid look, creepy smile, and a scowl glued to your face."

"Still the same, I see..." While the others just looked at us, dumbfounded.
