Morning with my little sister

Recap:

“Ouch.”

“Hahaha you deserved it.”

“What ever.”
“That’s enough you two.”

“Rukia and Renji shut up and stopped immediately when Byakuya gave that order.

“So what do you guys do for fun.”

“Um we walk around.”

“Really where to.”
“Wherever our feet take us I guess.”

Rukia and Renji walk around for fun that doesn’t sound cool at all. For the rest of the day I had Byakuya join us in a card game for memory. We played for a few hours and I was able to get Byakuya to laugh in front of others besides just me. Rukia and a Renji bid me goodnight. I went to our bed and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow I was so tired.

Hisana's POV

The next morning I woke up with Byakuya’s arms around me. It felt nice. I had missed these arms so much. I missed him. His voice. His laugh, that rarely happened. His smile, that I was always able to put on his face. Just being with him now made me feel like I was a kid again.

“Hisana.”

“Oh, good morning dear.”

I rolled over so that I was now facing my wonderful husband. He kissed me before I could say anything else. He pushed back so that I was now flat on my back. He was careful to not put all of his weight on me, by placing both of his arms on each side of me holding himself up. When he pulled away I was a little sad.

I stared into his eyes that I could get lost in everyday of the week. I pushed him onto his back and was straddling him. I kissed him and he placed his hands on my waist and lower back. He had just started to get really into it when there was a knock on the door.

“Captain, you are needed in the squad one barracks.”

Byakuya let out a small growl, is what I would call it and placed me back onto my back. He got up and got ready to leave for the day. Before he left he came over to me and kissed me one last time before leaving out the door.

After a while I got up and got ready for the day as well. I walked out of our room and went straight for the kitchen. I got me something to drink when Rukia came in.

“Good morning Rukia.”

“Morning sis.”

“You like having me here don’t you.”

She looked at me with a shocked expression.

“Of course. I have heard so many stories about h=you that I have always hoped of meeting you one day.”

I walked to her and gave her a hug, she hugged back.

“So Rukia would you like breakfast.”

“Yeah sure.”
“What do you want.”

“I don’t care.”
“Okay.”

I got to work. I made breakfast and we both sat down at the table. I found out that the captains and lieutenants were having a meeting as of right now. I didn’t mind though it gave me some alone time with my little sister that I never got to know.

“So rukia what is with, um Renji right.”

“Yeah its Renji. Nothing really.”

“Rukia don’t lie to me, there’s something going on.”

“NO there’s not, nothing is going on.”

“Oh come on I can see the way you look at him, even though I have only been around you guys for a little while now.”

“Nothing really.” Her cheeks started to get red. She was blushing and it was adorable.

“Rukia you can tell me.”

“You promise you wont say anything.”

“Promise.”

“Okay fine.”

She took a few deep breaths before telling me, “Well I like him.”

“And.”

“We grew up together. We met in the market, I saved him and his buddies from a crazy old man who would have given them a beating if he caught them. Soon I was able to live with them. I was one of the guys. I didn’t mind much, they were my family. Renji and I always had each others backs, no matter what, we would get each other out of trouble. Soon we started to discover things that we could do. We had spirit energy. We soon started to practice what we knew, or found out on our own of our abilities. I was better than him and it angered him. It pushed him to become stronger, especially when we got to the academy. He pushed himself all the time. Then nii-sama found me and told me that I would be joining his family by him adopting me as his little sister.”

She stooped to look at me.

“Please continue.”

“After we left the academy we were put onto squads. Me 13, him 6. Years later he became Lieutenant. When he found out that he made lieutenant I was on my way to the world of the living.”

I was paying close attention to what she was telling me how Byakuya and Renji had to bring her bake and how everyone was when she was to be executed. I got angry when she told me that Byakuya did nothing until the end.

“Nii-sama told me that his wife, you, were really my sister.”

I was happy that he did protect her. He did as he promised , god I loved that man so much it hurt sometimes. Rukia continued, how she had to go save one of her friends orihime from Aizen. And all the way up to now.

“Renji and I have gotten closer, I think I no I know that I like him. I believe he feels the same as well but I don’t know I don’t want to mess anything up between us.”

“Rukia do what you think is right, what you think must be done. Try to make him make the first move.”

“Is that what you did with nii-sama.”

“Actually I was attacked by a hollow and I was injured pretty badly when he found me before the hollow could eat me he killed it. He brought me to squad 4 and I woke up about a week later. He took me on a date and then kissed me, saying that he wasn’t going to let go, that he wasn’t going to lose me. We had become best friends after I left you and then well we got married and was married for 5 years before my, departure, lets call it that.”

“That’s sweet and it does not sound like him at all.”

“Yeah from how you described how he has been I can understand. But no matter what I will always love him.”

“As I love you Hisana.”

I spun around to see Byakuya standing in the door way to the kitchen. He walked over to me and bent down to give me a kiss.

Rukia sttod up “Well I’m going to find Renji.”
