The lights flickered a bit as Edd unknowingly leaned on the light switch in the hallway. Not a word was said, only the sound of a heart rate monitor resonated through the long, and almost empty hallways.
"Edd, are you alright?"
Matt said, approaching the seemingly stressed out male. Edd only nodded as he stared into space. Tome looked away from the two and stood up, not leaning on the wall anymore.
"I'll be monitoring the trainees, aight?"
The spiky haired individual said as he stepped through a door. As Tom walked throughout the halls to get to the training field, he could hear faint gunshots and something getting knocked over. Tom then stepped through the doors, only to narrowly avoid a stray bullet.
"Ah! Sorry Blue Leader!"
A brunette exclaimed as she fumbled a bit, unsure of what to do.
"Are you okay?!"
She dropped her gun accidentally and quickly tried to pick it up again, only to accidentally fire a shot at the ground. Tom approached her cautiously.
"Okay, don't move."
Tom said, getting closer to the clumsy female. The brunette stood as still as possible, afraid to accidentally fire another shot.
"Okay, try to position your hand like this."
Tom moved her thumb and her index finger a bit and stood behind her as he adjusted her position. The spiky haired male pulled out his own pistol and demonstrated his hand position.
"Ah! Thanks Blue Leader!"
The shorter female then went back to her friends to seemed to be happily chatting and firing at a target that had a few indents on it. A few of the trainees where silent and fired with accurate precision, that seemed to cause a few of the other trainees to become slightly nervous. Tom walked over to a wall and took the clipboard hanging from a nail, reviewing the trainees and whether they where fit enough to become a soldier as well as which ward they should be in.
Samara (Sam) Chernyshevsky
Lucas Bianchi
Amelia Allen
....
Tom could tell that Edd had been here from his handwriting and the list of trainees seemed to already be sorted into a ward. Tom looked at the trainees, clipboard and pencil in hand, as he scanned the crowd of trainees. There where a few who caught his attention, Audrey Joy, who was a dark haired female with terrifyingly sharp precision and a good sense of fairness. She had no problem shooting down a moving target in the last trainee paintball fight a few weeks ago. Alexis Jones, who was a short male with dark orange hair and was colorblind. His color blindness however, does not effect his ability to see hidden targets or people nearby.
"Alexis!"
A voice snapped Tom out of his thoughts as he looked up to see Alexis flipping Jones narrowly avoiding a stray bullet. Tom noted his agility and looked toward the direction where the bullet was fired. A dark haired male rushed to Alexis's side and was seemingly apologizing. Tom looked back at the paper; Bellatrix Carter, A non-binary, dark haired male with dark skin that matched his amber eyes, goes by he, him pronouns, also Alexis's best friend. Tom flipped the paper to read the rest of the reports and identification. Ying Zhao, a dark haired female with pale skin and bright eyes, has a knack of shooting things down with enough accuracy to question how it was possible. She is able to see extremely far away, about 35 kilometers, surprisingly and is able to find anyone who has been hiding. Otherwise, a warm female who has a great sense of dark humor.
Tom sorted the people onto the list and where he thinks they should go when they become soldiers. The void eyed individual hung the clipboard back onto the wall and watched the trainees practice for a bit, then left to the hallways.
The spiky haired male was walking through the halls and heard his walkie talkie make a static noise.
"Blue Leader, Purple and I sorta need you right now, over."
Edd's voice resonated through the silent halls and Tom complied, heading over to the room Edd and Matt were at earlier. Edd and Matt stood outside the door as the pair waited for Tom.
"Ah, Blue!"
Matt said, his voice was cheerful.
"Green and I are trying to get a bit of information out of this guy, so we wanted you to take a shot!"
Edd nodded, approving the information said. Tom just sighed.
"Well, I'll do it. I'll contact you if I need assistance."
And with that, Tom entered the room, hands in his pockets. The Red Army soldier was strapped onto the medical table, all weapons confiscated. The amber eyed Red Leader soldier only looked at Tom with a black expression however, his eyes gave away his emotions, as they darted around the room and avoided eye contact.
"So, let's get this started, shall we?"
