Chapter 1: Ransacked

The trio decided to spend a little outing time on their own at Pueblo. Develyn has completely lost the powers that made hybrids famous. His Vengeance that has pooled in his system since he was two is starting to revolt against his personality and is starting to get relapses more commonly. Outbursts of anger were starting to become more common with him. He is still seeking out the mysterious man who killed his parents. Contrary to it, his relapses made him very successful in sports. He ended up being the individual champion in the State Wrestling Championship while leading his school to a state championship itself. In lacrosse he led his team to another undefeated run, beating Pueblo West in state 20-4.

Asriel's Vengeance relapses have been receiving minor upgrades. If anyone insults him, there is high possibility it'll kick in and Asriel will attack without any warning. Despite that, he was successful in sports. He ended up being 3rd in the climbing state championship, which he felt accomplished of. In swimming he became the top 10 best swimmer in the state championship.

Despite Andy being sandwiched by two people who can't control their anger, he still gets along with everybody quite well. He immediately snagged an elusive goal in cross country and that was to claim the individual state title, which was enough for Ebott County to win their first state title since 2011. He managed to get into the top 5 in golf and would lead his team to their first state title in school history.

The trio were riding in Develyn's car to head to an annual execution of a Daedric cult. Daedrism is by far the most hated religion in the world, believers stated that they existed before all other major religions did and they had a prospect on Oblivion and control. The remnants of the Mythic Dawn were found and they were finally getting what they deserve. Also on the plan list to be executed was a secret Anti-Monster Dominion Plot to wipe out half the population via a purge. Since the Allied States (A/N: No new states joined in the previous year) has gained recognition from the world, the United States decided to send these small pockets to the heartland of the nation. Their plots would be wildly unsuccessful as there has been 50 executions in the past year! The AMD is almost similar to the Ku Klux Klan (A/N: Most of you know this as the KKK), they involve movements into hating monsters, stating they aren't real.

"I swear, these guys aren't as clever. Wonder how many will die via firing squad," Develyn stated.

"Who knows, I think lethal injection is more worth it," Asriel stated.

"Yeah, but it's tedious. Firing squad is more fun to watch, because you never know who actually has the real bullet that will lay the blow," Andy explained.

"From what I've heard, I think they're going throwback," Develyn noted.

"Hung, drawn and quartered?" Asriel asked. (A/N: I don't know why I'm naming a ton of possible ways of execution)

"No, Saudi Arabia still does it. Does the French Revolution ring a bell?" Develyn asked.

"Oh, beheading, I guess that'll be fun to watch," Asriel answered.

"I guess we all like it when corruption gets purified using execution," Andy stated. 

The trio arrived at the parking lot of the execution site. They were given VIP access since they were relatively important people in the nation, therefore, they were unable to get lost in the large crowd that gathered around to watch the event. A large prison bus pulled up afterward, carrying the criminals facing execution. All of them were bound in handcuffs. After a short speech from ASA military director Ulrich Stormcloack (A/N: I didn't misspell Ulfric's name on purpose, Ulrich just sounds better. By the way, the "h" in his name is silent) a loud ominous roar can be heard.

"I've haven't heard a roar from those in years," Develyn muttered. Signalling the fact he never heard a dragon roar since 2016, the day he burned Flowey to ashes and allowed a lifeless Chara to drown in her own pool of blood.
