Odahviing carried the trio a little outside of Skuldafn. As soon as there was an open, flat space, Odahviing landed on the ground.

"This looks like our stop," Develyn stated.

"I thought he'd take us to Sovngarde," Asriel stated.

"This is as far I can take you guys. Krif voth ahkrin. I will look for your return, or Alduin's," Odahviing stated as he flew off.

The exterior of Skuldafn looked like some of the forsaken ruins the trio have dealt with. Forsaken in terms of the emptiness of the ruins, but it always teems with undead life. The trio already had company in a bad way. Two dragons and a myriad of draugr set their sights on them. The trio were victorious and Develyn absorbed two more dragon souls.

Eventually they reached the temple of Skuldafn. The empty, desolate ruins is all that's left between the trio and Alduin. Asriel solved another puzzle as they progressed. The trio disposed of more enemies, both dead and undead. Asriel soon solved another puzzle afterward. The trio soon took down more undead inhabitants.

"These guys are coming in waves," Andy stated.

"Well, were thinning the herd. Let's keep moving forward," Develyn stated.

The trio avoided some traps on which they had some close calls with.

"That was close!" Asriel exclaimed.

The trio were soon stopped by three draugr near a trap.

"Stand back, I got this," Develyn stated as he fired his crossbow and a bolt hit the lantern and incinerated the ground, killing off the draugr. The trio would avoid another trap before they reached another puzzle. A dragon priest would guard the puzzle door, Asriel killed it with his swords. Asriel soon solved the puzzle immediately afterward.

The trio were back outside, dusk is settling in the Rocky Mountains. After a few more draugr were disposed off two dragons perched on top of columns. The dragons would eventually fly off, realizing how powerful Develyn truly is. The only one to question his power is a powerful dragon priest by the name of Nahkriin. Nahkriin was too distracted to notice what was going on because he was trying to grab the staff, preventing the trio's access to Sovngarde. Develyn killed him before he even had a chance to grab it. Nahkriin, despite being dead for unknown amount of time, released his soul, which Develyn put in his black soul gem, little did he know that would contain a soul fragment of Alduin. The trio plunged into the gates of Sovngarde shortly afterward.
