~And here's Part 1 of the Angus x Reader! A few things to note:
- I've switched some of the places of work around so Angus now works at the diner at the edge of the town.
- Obviously the Gregg x Angus cannon doesn't exist in this universe XD

You think about your options for work before remembering the old diner you saw towards the end of town. You definitely remember it, because the memory of having a police officer drive you into town was very vivid in your mind. You saw the diner as you were driving past during your first day, or night, in Possum Springs.

You remember the generic red 'Diner' sign out front and could only see that it was a bigger building than the average in Possum Springs. The rest you couldn't make out because it was very dark at that moment in time. It's pretty far, but it's not like it was miles away from your home. Hopefully, the morning light would portray the diner better.

You remember that Gregg told you his friend Angus works there, so at least you would know somebody there. Walking into a huge new environment, especially a job, would be way too overwhelming without having someone there you knew.

It's 7:00 am, and you're pretty sure Angus would be working there by now. They start pretty early, like everyone else in Possum Springs.

If anyone will tell you how to apply for the job, it would probably be Angus. He's very friendly from what you've heard, and he's a bear, which was a strange combination. You decide not to delay anymore.

You swing open the door to your house, which was flimsy and coming loose with every pull.

"I need to get that fixed." You think to yourself as you step outside.

The warm, inviting wind of Autumn rushes past you as you step outside into the crackling red leaves. You look around and see that the sky is painted with a coat of deep orange hue. There are clouds of mist travelling around the town that gave the air some chill to it.

It looked beautiful, but would have been very eery if there was nobody around. As you pass some houses on your street, you see children running around playfully, the old men of the town were chatting and raking leaves, as if that would somehow help the town in some way.

You see Mr.Chazakov, the old cat, stargazing as usual on top of his house. You aren't sure what he sees, since there were no stars in the sky that you could see. You walk past a few more houses and hear some people talking..

"Did you hear what happened to that kid?" One shifty looking mouse said to an old goat, the mouse spoke with a sort of hissing voice.

"I bet he was hit by a train. There's no way he could have hopped one." The goat replied in an accent that was typical of goats.

"You know what..I think something else happened to him.." The mouse said, which made you sort of stop walking and listen in.

"What do you mean? I bet you're reading too much into that cult. Stuff and nonsense I say!" The goat says, gesturing the mouse away and walking back to his front porch.

The mouse turns to you, and sees you just standing there. As he walks over, you slightly wish you hadn't stopped.

"You. You are new here, yes?" The mouse says, coming a little too close for comfort.

"Uh, yeah.." You respond.

The mouse appeared to look around for a bit before coming even closer.

"Do you believe in the spiritual?" The hissed voice sounded like a snake in your ear.

You stay silent, looking confused and a little creeped out. Okay, a lot creeped out.

"If you do, take this." The mouse says, handing you a tattered piece of paper. He then backed away and walked down the street, towards where you came from.
