Her face a simple base
Of glittering stars to light
She is invisible in the morning
But alive in the night

Her eyes are comets
Beautiful icy and cold
Her gaze travels quickly
With many secrets to unfold

I stare at her in awe
Every time she appears in the night
She fills me with excitement
That makes me break gravity's law

She has many secrets
hidden in an abyss
She uses her colors to hide it
And everyone seems to miss

Her beauty suffocates me
As if I was an astronaut with no helmet
The sight of her relaxes me
From the day we first met

My sparkle, my shine
Has dimmed and gone
Because I am a black dwarf
Who has seen too much and lived too long

My eyes are asteroids
Dark and Destructive
My gaze stays to myself
So everything stays constructive

No one notices I'm there
Like the dark side of the moon
I'm quiet, breakable, and explosive
Because I'm in the final stage of my cycle

I am an open book
Out there with the sun
I am a blank base
With no colors, no fun

I have no outer beauty
My face is filled with craters
When I walk into a room
Everyone sees my dangers
