My shoes crushed small pebbles of rock beneath my feet as I run quickly. My name is Steven Diamond. Even though I'm only six years old, I cause a lot of trouble because of my anger. I'm not like any other humans.

I have a yellow diamond gem on my chest and an eye that's yellow with a small diamond-shaped pupil. My other eye is brown, like a normal human but I have dull- but sharp- teeth. I steal a lot and always have to sit in "timeout" at school while the other kids laugh at me. I'm on my way to school and running from a few shop owners whom I stole from a few minutes ago.

"You have to pay for that!" "Where's your dad!" "Come back here!" They all yell while chasing after me.

I turn a corner and lose them after a minute of running. I made it to the school campus and walked inside. I open the door to my class and smile bright and mischievously.

"You're late..." The teacher scolds. I stick out my tounge before sitting on the carpet to start the day.

A few hours later and the class was in the middle of working and/or chatting about what their parents packed them for lunch. No one ever sits by me so I just eat by myself. That was... Until now...

A girl who looked almost around my height walked up to me and asked, "Can I sit here?" I look at her then look away and continue to eat. The girl sits by me and I look at her again.

"I didn't say you can sit by me..." I glare. "Well.... You didn't say anything..." She talks back. Who does she think she is?! I clench my fist and yell, "Who do you think you are?!" She stares at me in fear and gets up. "You're a stupid bully!" She yells back. I push her and she falls back. Her glasses hit the floor and crack. She stand up as tears fill her eyes and she starts whimpering.

"What a baby!" I yell. She looks mad now and she punches me, then I fall on the floor. "O-ow..." I say. I stand up and slap her.

We start fighting and the teacher finally stops us after a few minutes. We were both sent the the principal's office and had to wait for our parents to pick us up. A bandaid was on my cheek and across my nose. I poke at them for a while. Within a few seconds, I was in the car with my dad. "This is your 8th fight, Steven! And it was with a girl?!" Dad shouts.

"I didn't want her to sit by me and she talked back to me!" I yell while crossing my arms. Dad chuckles lightly. "A girl fought you and talked back? She must be really, really brave..." Dad says. No one likes to mess with me because they know how much I'll beat them up or they just don't want to get in trouble.

That girl. She looked so weak at first but just punched me. And it hurt. We finally make it to the house and I run to my room to grab my color pencils and notebooks. I pick out a lolipop from the lolipop jar that is on the desk that I draw on.

I start drawing for a few seconds before dad takes my stuff and says, "Nope... Ukulele first..." He holds out my ukulele to give it to me.

I sigh in annoyance and grab the instrament. Dad begins to teach me another ukulele/guitar lesson. I keep struggling with having to hold my finger down on the strings and let go of some at the right moment. I play a song a few minutes later just to know that I'm improving very quickly.

"Good job, Stu-ball..." Dad smiles warmly and ruffles my hair. I grummble lowly and place the ukulele down. "Can I draw now?" I ask. Dad picks up the stringed instrument and smiles. "Yeah." He leaves my room and I grab my art stuff.
