Lewis Capaldi- Some you loved

Orianna's POV
I'm startled by the door banging and Brandon rushing in. He throws his school bag on the floor after racing in.
"School's closed for summer, Anna. And I'm so excited!-"
"Calm down Brandon..." I chuckle. "I know you're excited but please keep it down before you wake Zoe up." I continued softly, reminding him of our last-born sibling who was asleep in the room.
I can't have him wake her up after I've just managed to get her to sleep. This is my chance to clean up and rest a little before leaving for work.
"What do you plan on doing this summer?" I ask Brandon as I make my way to the kitchen to wash the dishes from breakfast.
"I don't know, I wanna make a lot of friends and go out to play and I don't know."
"And don't forget that you'll have to be babysitting Zo because I'll be working a lot more since you're home. But I'll try my best to have you go out and play, maybe even buy you a bike if I have enough money saved up." I say.
"Really, 'Anna? You'll get me a bike?" His excitement made me proud and also eager to put in extra shifts just so I can afford one for him.
"Yes, now change and put your bag in the room."
"Yeah, yeah." He dragged, moving to the bedroom.
"And don't you dare make any noise that'll wake Zoe up." I threaten.
He rolls his eyes and walks away.
I put some pasta on the stove and then begin to mentally go through everything that I had and might still have to do before leaving for work while I do the dishes.
I turn off the stove once the pasta is done and go to prepare for work, pairing my green scrubs with my black sneakers.
"There's pasta in a pot on the stove. You can dish for you and Zo when you guys are hungry." I instruct Brandon as I pack my work bag.
"Volume," I grumble at him when the characters on the screen make a loud noise.
"Sheesh!"
"Don't sheesh me, if Zoe wakes up then I'm leaving you to deal with her emotional self. You know how she cries for no reason after being disturbed from her nap." I chastise him after filling up my water bottle.
I go to check on her to see if she's up, but I'm glad to see that she's still deep in slumber. Deep sleep-induced breaths moved her tiny chest up and down under her favorite aqua blanket. A couple of minutes go by as I'm entranced by the small human on the bed a few feet away from me, but as much as I wish I could just spend every waking second with her and Brandon, I still have to work to provide for them, so I shake myself out of the trance and grab my jacket before moving the curls from her forehead and planting a kiss there.
A loud sigh escapes me as I leave the room, moving towards Brandon in our small living space. I kiss his forehead, he frowns and wipes it off. "Enjoy your cartoons now, but you better play Moana for Zoe when she gets up. And don't open the door for strangers."
"I know and I know." He whined.
"Great. I love you guys." I blow one final kiss before leaving.
He mumbles back a response to me and it brings a wide smile to my face before I finally leave.
I quickly rush to the bus stop for the 4:30 bus. My shift starts at 5 pm and I have to be there early so I can get everything started.
With me only being a high school graduate, I didn't have a wide range of jobs available. Since I wanted to be involved in the medical field after college, I didn't want me not graduating from college to stop working in the medical field and I tried and tried till I got a job as a medical assistant.
