Becca's POV

I was listening to the Hamilton soundtrack on the Spotify app on my phone the next day when Jack walked into my room.

"Hey, so I noticed all ya have with ya is that backpack, and ye'll need ta buy yer uniform anyway, so l was thinkin' that ya might wanna go shoppin' today."

"Sure," I said. Personally, I didn't really like shopping for clothes (which I find kind of ironic considering I was born on Black Friday), but I can't wear the same clothes every day.

When we got to the store, Jack just let me go off and find what I needed. I could tell he was feeling awkward about the whole "taking a teenage girl shopping" thing, but I didn't blame him. (It's also going to be great material for teasing him later hehehehehe.) Ob helped me pick out the clothes (except for the uniform... obviously) and Jack and I went on our way.

Becca: Hehe

Ob: Hehehehe

Becca: Hehehehehehe

Ob: Hehehehehehehehe

Author: Um, guys?

Both: Yes?

Author: Could we get back to the story?

"Hey, I have a lot o' recordin' ta do today. Are ya goin' ta be okay on yer own?" Jack asked on the way. It was weird having to walk everywhere, since Jack didn't have a car, but I guess I needed the exercise.

"Yeah, I spend most of my time tucked away in my room watching YouTube anyway. I'll keep it down."

"Thanks. I was wonderin' somethin' else..."

"What?"

"Would ya mind if I made a vlog about how yer livin' with me when we get ta the apartment? I won't if ya don't want to, it's just-"

"It's fine, Jack. I don't mind at all," I interrupted. That was the one thing I didn't like about him. He spends way too much time trying to explain himself.

"Great."

We walked in silence the rest of the way. We got home and went into my room to record the vlog.

I lied down on my bed and Jack turned on the the camera.

"Wapoosh! Top of the morning to ya laddies! My name is Jacksepticeye, and I have a very special announcement. And that would be this!" He pointed the camera at me.

"Becca, say hi to everyone."

"Hey!" I said, trying to sound as cheerful as possible. Jack gave me a thumbs-up, and turned the camera back to him.

"So yer probably thinking, 'Jack, why is there a teenage girl in yer apartment?" and the answer to that is simple. Becca is my distant cousin, and a couple days ago she lost her parents in a fire, and now she's living with me. This isn't going to affect the upload schedule in any way. It'll still be two videos a day at 5 and 8 everyday. I just figured ya guys would want to know. Becca, is there anything you want to say before we roll out?"

"Alex, you owe me 5 bucks." Alex and I made a bet a year ago that neither of us would meet a Youtuber, and if we did we'd give the other 5 dollars. "Also, if any of you are wondering, it's nice having Jack as a cousin."

"Okay, then. Alex, get on that. And thank you guys so much for watching this video! And if you liked it, PUNCH that like button in the face, LIKE A BOSS! And, high fives all around! Wapoosh! Wapoosh! But thank you guys so much and l will see all you dudes, IN THE NEXT VIDEO!" Jack turned off the camera.

"I'm goin' ta go upload this, and start recordin'. Ya sure ye'll be fine on yer own?"

"I'm fine," I said. Jack nodded and left the room. I grabbed my phone and watched Jack play Happy Wheels (because why not)?

"So, how did I do?" I asked Ob. She thought for a moment before replying.

"You were absolutely fantastic, Becca," she said.

In the hours since Jack uploaded the video, I was surprised to find out that a lot of his fans had found my Twitter (@Shadow_Dancer) and my Instagram (shadow_dancer) accounts. Within moments, I had a whole bunch of comments on my latest Instagram post from people who told me how lucky I was to have Jack as a cousin. Both my Instagram and my Twitter are not real, so don't try to look. Remember, this is only a story, so don't go looking.

Author: Well, that chapter was... eventful.

Becca: And don't forget to absolutely mash that star!

Ob: And while you're at it, recommend this story to as many of your friends as you can.

Author: The song up top is "Canary" by Jim Yosef.
