Shadow-Dancer: We're Not So Different [ALTERNATE UNIVERSE VERSION]

Epilog 1: Twin Sister? Yup.

Ob never got her chance to have her "lengthy discussion" with Anti, because, as soon as we arrived at the apartment, she collapsed.

"Ob!" I screamed, running to her. "What happened?"

"Took... too much... power," she rasped. I noticed her eyes, her hair... they were flickering. Ob was dying.

Anti quickly pulled out his teleportation device, opening a portal. I picked Ob up, and followed Anti through.

"The... Blackwater... Lake," Ob observed.

"Yes," Anti said. "An' you two are goin' ta stand in it."

I listened, carrying Ob as I waded into the water. Suddenly, a swirling current of water shot up around us, flowing into Ob as the glow from her eyes and hair stopped flickering, and went back to a bright blue. Then, a white strand shot from her chest to mine, and I was forced to let Ob go as her wings, black feathered with glowing blue tips, sprouted from her back. She then turned into a blue outline of herself, tucked her wings back into her body, faced the same direction I was, and walked backwards. Suddenly, I felt her presence in my head again.

"Ob, are you okay?" I asked.

"I should be," she responded. "It's gonna take a while for me to regain the strength I need to manifest my physical form, though."

"I'm just glad you're okay, Ob."

*November 29, 2016*

This morning, Ob and I gained a new ability. Now, we can summon solid illusions of ourselves and project them wherever we want.

Ob and I were now walking home from dropping Lily and Turq off at their apartment. Jack had enrolled Ob at my school. We saw a car in the parking lot of the apartment complex that we didn't recognize. It was a black Chevrolet Suburban.

"Whose car is that?" I asked Ob.

"I'm not sure," she said.

As we walked through the door, we were met with a massive surprise. Dark and two girls were sitting on the couch. The girls looked exactly like Ob and I. The one who looked like me walked up to us and hugged me. I was about to pull away from the hug when she started crying. Her demon had done the same thing to Ob and was also bawling her eyes out.

As we embraced, memories flooded into my mind. Memories of us playing together, our demons playing together, Ob teaching Royal, Bella's demon, how to manipulate her shadow, Bella and Royal getting kidnapped when we were four years old.

Now Ob and I were crying. We just stood there, hugging and crying tears of happiness.

"It's been..." I started, but was unable to finish.

"Ten years, Becca," Bella said. "It's been ten years since Royal and I were kidnapped by Antimatter."

"Yeah, well, there's a problem," Royal said. We had broken apart and were now looking into each other's eyes. "Bella and I aren't exactly... here."

"What are you talking about?" I asked, bewildered.

"We have the same exact powers you have," Bella explained.

"Wait, so if you're not actually here, then where are you?" Ob asked.

"We're being held in the Alcatraz Rehab Facility," Royal explained. "Antimatter's running the place." This shocked me.

"He's still alive?" I asked. "How?"

"What do you mean by that?" Bella asked. I explained to her and Royal everything that happened last month.

"Well, Royal and I have to head back," Bella said. "Say hi to Jack and Anti for us."

"I will," I said.
