You are breaking me apart like a crane, knocking down unwanted structures but I will keep rebuilding myself.
You cannot truly believe that when you degrade me, I'll disappear.
You weigh me to the ground by my shoulders and demand that I stand.
I am nothing to you but need not worry, I am everything to me.
I am the cat and you're the mouse, I am the bird and you're the worm.
I will use your violent slurs as a fuel to my strength.
I will engulf myself with the flames of perseverance.
Watch me grow above who you thought I was.
I will not eat the insults that you have fed me, I would rather starve.
