Hold me, even if your arms have gone weak
But tell me, has your love for me become bleak? Are you trying to whisper that you have moved on?
Are you trying to show me that our spark is a con?Am I falling in love with an empty shell of you?
If I am than I'll find another person to pursue. Please don't take this harshly I only want what's best,
But if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be this distressed.I wouldn't hold all this shame so close to my heart,
In my eyes it seems like we are falling apart.Maybe it's by the many demons of my past.
Were the people right when they said we wouldn't last? The heartache,
The pain,
The tears in the rain.
I'm tired of guessing if this is all in my brain.
I'm tired not only from all the sleepless nights,
But from the small things that always end up in fights. This poem is sorrowful, this I know.
But from here with this pain, I will take it and grow.Like a clip of a root from a beautiful rose,
I'll plant it and soon all the past doors will close.I was torn like a muscle but once I heal I'll be stronger,
But until that time comes, I must wait a little longer.
