How is everyone feeling lately?
I'm just here, streaming one of my favourite albums by Prince: 3121. Must've been woke lately, probably because an awakening. Although, still to this day, it remains a special album to me. Music as always, never fails to inspire me everyday.
Contrary to popular belief, that society nowadays just listen to what the mainstream tells them what kind of music they should enjoy streaming to. Oh the digital age, I wish it was the 50's, 60's, 70's, and the 80's all over again. The best of times when music was created with raw talent and pure soul. I picture that scenery to the silhouettes of society today and it seemed like the contemporaries apparently shined the brighter light than the darkness that distorted the people of today.
If Michael Jackson's target audience was people all over the world and Prince is more of attracting sexy babes, the subject of God, and women into the music industry, then I would imagine what the unthinkable could possibly be if it weren't for these legends. The years have already passed and it is far too late now to have another one like them. It cost their souls to be a menace to the greed of the art industry. One aimed for global impact and one aimed for the freedom of creation.
Had everyone took their word seriously enough, the Seven Deadly Sins would all be gone in just a blink of an eye. Instead, they chose destruction over mass equality and peace. Like the old saying goes..
Money is the root of all evil.
Two artists with legendary works of eternity; both standing against the test of time.
Who would've known, that someone from Gary, Indiana.. He thrilled us with Thriller, rocked us all night with Rock With You, he's shown the world that he is Bad, he asked the Man In The Mirror to change his ways, it didn't matter to everyone what color you are because it don't matter if you're Black Or White, and most importantly, he's told us to Heal The World and make it a better place.
While on the other hand, the small kid from Minnesota, Minneapolis had surprisingly took off to fame with his limitless creativity by his overly hypersexual presence that became known to him. His preaching powers as if he were a high priest showed us what it sounds like When Doves Cry, he told us to praise the Lord Almighty with Let's Go Crazy, his Kiss drived couples to go crazy over their significant ones, we partied the time of our life like it was 1999, we reminded women that to slow down because love comes by always with Little Red Corvette, but most inportantly.. he's seen us in the Purple Rain.
Must've been the thought process that helped me further expound my creativity and look deep into what I have. But I figured, I wanted to know more about the subconscious mind and the universe living in it beyond our will to dictate our lives with. It was only Michael Jackson and Prince, the first artists I looked up to during my younger days. Always knew they had a rivalry, but it was never one and the world will never know what came of those two..
Moving on, today was an extremely somehow a really definite day of melancholy. I cried my eyeballs out and my shirt was extremely wet. Haha. Ya' boy has gone through shit that's not talked about.
I'm completely obssessed with Kingdom Hearts right now, as of the moment. After waiting for years that Kingdom Hearts 2.9 (R.I.P to the people who didn't get the joke.) was finally making its worldwide release. I was completely ready to get blown away by the long-awaited one; it threw an unexpected shock value on me.
The return of Roxas, Sora and Kairi together again on that original tree they sat on Destiny Islands during the whole KH series, Aqua getting saved by Sora, Riku, and Mickey, Ventus being awoken by Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Aqua whilst having an intense fight with Vanitas, and Terra finally freeing himself from the darkness and getting rid of Xehanort's nobody: Xemnas out of his control. I swear to my fucking Ultima keyblade, I just want to cut the shit out of his throat so many times now when I watched the whole gameplay. But thankfully, he surrended the X-Blade (Chi-/Kye-Blade or Keyblade) to Sora under his control now as the symbol represents Kingdom Hearts itself. And when the time had come, both Eraqus and Xehanort revert back to their past selves and go back in time.
Amazing story, isn't it? I can't believe they would end the Xehanort saga just like that. I kind of expected it to be more of Sora and Xehanort dueling their way to death since both are the main protagonist and antagonist. Just wished it happened that way so it'll REALLY end the saga with a bang. But what the title says likewise, "Kingdom Hearts".
And.. if you are probably also wondering. My favourites are Master Yen Sid, Ansem The Wise (even though he died on KH2) Sora, King Mickey, Riku, Kairi, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Namine, and Roxas.
I am a shipper too, in fact. SoKai and TerrAqua are my mains. Hmm.. the thought of shipping two fictional characters together makes me thought of my early days in High School. That memory has got to be vague now.
Don't you worry, SoKai and TerrAqua. If Square Enix doesn't give you a happy ending then we'll force them to. At least give one of these ships a well-deserved happy ending. I mean, come on man. I grew up with these characters and their development made the series more interesting.
But anyway, that'll be all. Hopefully everyone enjoyed their ride here on this chapter. A lot of food for thought I should say, as no amount of money ever bought a second of time. Creativity, like all personalities and the human anatomy. It functions through vibration and harmony. So make good productive use of your time and make everyday inspiring. You may never know when that day comes, the Earth might come crashing at you tomorrow. Take care everyone!
