Time check: It is currently 5:40AM right now as I am writing this and I woke up so early since I have an appointment to commit to in like, less than an hour. Yes, despite being an early bird I don't sleep early very often; explains why I have so much perplexity in my thoughts.
Imagination is the key to the heart of the universe, they say. That partial thought of the quote kept on swirling my head as I started to compare it to the reality we all live in. As a big fan of Music, Art, and Philosophy. I can be considered as a volatile but complex in personality who just views the world differently as if I was born in another planet. Sums up why I leave people hanging by a thread.
Currently listening to one of the most somehow psychedelic-inducing songs of all time with a mix of Eurodance and Electronica. I'm sure most of you OGs out there have listened to this during your childhood years.

Open that track and you'll see what I mean.. if you know what I mean. Hehe.
This is good for our health, varying the type of music I heavily listen to as a Michael Jackson fan. Indeed, it is very funny.
So I just came back to this because I had to get that song out of my head because it was heavily distracting me from doing this.. luckily, I'm listening now to Carlos Santana. One of my favourite artists and is currently fourth on the list of my top ten. Speaking of.. I'll give my top ten of my artists now, that which represent the contextual definition of a music taste.
1. Prince.
2. Michael Jackson.
3. James Brown.
4. Santana.
5. Jimi Hendrix.
6. Stevie Wonder.
7. Earth, Wind, & Fire.
8. Little Richard.
9. Marvin Gaye.
10. Bangtan Sonyeondan. (BTS)Exquisite, as I should say. No one makes music like them. Oh, I actually forgot to add Queen and The Beatles. Imagine being that dense now, very tasteless of me. Anyway, moving on..
Santana is indeed, one of my favourite bands of all time. Their infusion of Latin Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Jazz, and Blues really made me like them a lot. Not to mention the amount of instruments in there too. Personally, I think they are one of the greatest bands of all time. If not, the most influential. Love the way how they hone their craft seamlessly as it had always transitioned genre to genre.
They give me a feeling of excitement and joy that everything's going to be alright. Plus, the influences they had on their music makes me want to wander more deeply into the world of music. B.B. King being their major one I noticed aside from Carlos Santana who was noted for his influence from Gabor Szabo, a Jazz/Gypsys artist of the 1960's; he influenced his guitar playing.
As of the moment, Supernatural is one of my favourite albums. But I'll have to listen to some other albums before I jump to any conclusions and NOT ruin my music taste. Because I hate it when I ruin it because it ruins my personality as well. Because, in contrary to popular belief:
Music affects the personality and your perception of the world..
I'm hooked, it's unexplainable how they make such great music like this. Imagine if a collaboration between Prince, Santana, and Jimi Hendrix were to happen.. the world would be in a state of shock and careers today.. they'd disappear with the strum of their guitars.
Someday, if I were to play like either three of them. I'd not stop playing and learning anymore. Because once I delved into the universe of Art, there was no turning back. I heavily consume my time mostly on Music, Art, and Philosophy.
But now that I think about it, I compare Prince, Santana, Michael Jackson, and James Brown in terms of their percussion since out of all the elements in the structural development of their production was very noticeable and the reason why I put #4 on Santana.
I don't usually feel the Soul, but I most certainly feel the groove that Soul has of them.
Then again, Santana has definitely played a major influence on my percussion and rhythm. Prince was most certainly right about him being compared to Jimi Hendrix regardless of what the press said about the comparisons that he doesn't like being compared to him because it'd be a pity to try and play him. Thus, wants to strive for originality in his work. He said that if they really listen to his music, they could hear more of a Santana and James Brown influence on him. Considering the fact that he could dance and guitar at the same time.
For some reason, I've started to get that feeling again of revisiting the genre Jazz and Blues since inspiration strikes so naturally to me. I'm really hoping to see them live now, I just really want to. Never in my life had I experienced going to a concert. When I thought that I was gonna meet my musical inspirations, that dream was all over. Losing Michael Jackson and Prince is a painful memory and it still is today.
But on the brighter side of things, I still feel their presence around me with their music. As long as I listen to them extensively, they'll come back. I know of it that someday they'll return. Don't see the words, "He's Dead." or, "He's Gone" and they'll come back.
That'll be all you dearly beloved. See you all very soon.
