Before Fujimiya Satsuki remembered her past life as Sarah, before she remembered about the anime Katekyo Hitman Reborn, she was your average school girl. She attended class, became temporary manager of the baseball club and joined the disciplinary committee. She never had anybody she called a close friend after her childhood friend moved away before they started secondary school, but she was fine with that.
Satsuki observed at the commotion in front of her as she watched Tsuna, Yamamoto, and Gokudera attempt to organize a presentation during study period. She couldn't help but smile as she was glad to call these people friends. She started thinking about Fumi, somehow forgetting about him after she regained her memories. Her gaze strayed to the side, remembering how he pushed her to sign up for the disciplinary committee during Club Day.
----
"C'mon, Satsu," said Fumi as he pulled her through the crowd, "you'll love this club; I heard that their president is a fighting maniac."
"Why me?!" She asked, apologizing to people she bumped into because of Fumi. "This better not be a trick, Fumihiro."
"It won't be!" He urged, squeezing her hand. "I want you to at least have a place to talk to others before I move - we both know you don't have any other friends."
She rolled her eyes but didn't pull her hand away and let him decide her fate. He was right, unfortunately. They entered a clearing and looked around, seeing people openly avoiding eye contact with the table they were standing in front of.
"I have a friend here who would like to join the Disciplinary Committee!" Fumi grinned, pushing his glasses up.
Kusakabe looked at the duo, raising an eyebrow. "You would like to join, Miss?"
"A-ah, yeah... it looks interesting," she shrugged. "What is the club about...?"
"Biting people to death," said Hibari Kyoya, looking at her.
Satsu stared at Hibari for a few seconds, admiring his looks before turning her attention back to Kusakabe, who looked like he was in charge.
"It's just scolding people who aren't following the rules," Kusakabe laughed. "If you really wanted him to, Kyo-san can bite the trouble makers to death."
"Bite them to death?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.
"Ooh, I've head that saying before!" Fumi jumped, his eyes sparkling. "That means that he beats them up!"
"What?!"
"I hope that doesn't dissuade you from joining the club." Kusakabe smiled, his face expressing worry.
From his expression, Satsuki knew that there weren't a lot of students in the Disciplinary Committee because of this 'Kyo-san'. Even just looking at him, she could see that he is definitely an intimidating person that most of the student body would avoid, but that somehow just made her more curious.
"Not at all," she shook her head, "where do I sign up?"
"Name and year." Hibari requested.
"Fujimiya Satsuki, first year."
"Welcome to the Disciplinary Committee."
"Eh...?"
----
Satsuki had no idea that Hibari was the boss at the time. The way Kusakabe carried himself seemed like a leader when they first met, but it was only because Hibari didn't like talking much. Nami-chuu had their club day a few days before Fumi moved; Satsu was grateful for that - she doubted she would've joined a club if Fumi wasn't with her.
