I followed what Dr. Oh said and waited outside Shuhua's room. I cannot believe this! I do not want to believe it... she does not remember who I am. Let me rephrase that, she remembers who I am but she remembers me as the person who ruined her high school! She does not remember the part where we started liking each other.

[door opens]

"Dr. Oh..." I said sadly as Dr. Oh walked out of Shuhua's room.

"We need to talk." Dr. Oh said seriously. I sighed.

Dr. Oh continued walking and I followed behind him. We reached his office and I sat down in front of his table.

"Dr. Oh why can't she remember me as her wife? She remembers me as the person who made her high school a living hell." I said exploding.

"So it's true, you actually did those things to her during your high school days?" Dr. Oh asked to confirm the things that Shuhua said earlier.

"Well yeah, I have a reason for it even though it is not valid. I was jealous of Miyeon during those times because she was with Shuhua. I envy the way she could kiss Shuhua. I envy the way she could hold Shuhua. I envy how she can make Shuhua happy but I know I can make her happier. Shuhua did not deserve her, she was much worst than me during high school to the point that she physically hurt her. I know because I witnessed it and saved her from her toxic relationship with Miyeon. But now, her memory remembers that Miyeon is her partner and not me! I do not know how to protect her now since her memory makes her afraid of me." I said crying.

"Dr. Oh you have got to help me get Shuhua back! I did not wait for a year for her to wake up just to not be remembered!" I added.

"Ms. Seo between the two of you, you are the one who has a clear understanding of the situation. Shuhua just woke up after a year of being in a coma because of an accident that she does not know about yet. I already told you before, to prepare yourself for the worst case scenario to which the injury in her head might cause her amnesia when she wakes up." Dr. Oh said.

"Dr. Oh nal mid-eo (believe me, I have). Visiting her every single day ever since she got here... not knowing when she will wake up, had been my preparation. Do you know how painful it feels to wait for someone who is between life and death?? I stayed by Shuhua's side 24/7! You cannot blame me Dr. Oh for bursting like that because I was like stab to the chest when my own wife could not recognised me." I said crying again.

After what felt like hours, I stopped crying. Not being remembered by my own wife is just too much for me to handle.

"Dr. Oh can I go now?" I asked slowly standing up.

"Take a rest Ms. Seo." Was the last thing I heard before walking out of his office.

When I got to my car, I called Yuqi (ooh-gi).

"Hello?"

"Yuqi (ooh-gi) are you still at work?"

"I just finished. I am on my way down now."
