(6th Month of Recovery)

"What time is it? Why am I awake? I feel like I just slept... it's not even morning yet~ it's still dark outside." I thought as I looked around the room and towards the window.

"Aish! Why did they have to put their arms around me? I can't move. They didn't have to be like this, I'm not a baby. Besides, it's not their hug that I want right now..." I complained in my mind as I try to get loose from Minnie unnie (big sister) and Yuqi (ooh-gi)'s hug.

I carefully removed each of their arms around me and discreetly moved out of the bed.

"Woo... that was tough." I mumbled to myseld when I finally got off of the bed and immediately, in that moment, the couple instantly moved closer to each other and cuddled which reminded me of my wife. Su Jin Yeh.

[FLASHBACK: 6 months ago]

"Shu are you... home? Hey..." I hear the sweet voice of my wife which eases my tired soul already.

"Did you just got home?" Su Jin asked softly. I hummed in response with my eyes closed.

"Have you eaten? Want me to cook you dinner?" Su Jin asked sitting on the side of the bed.

I opened my eyes and looked at her. "Aniyo (no)... it's already 12 midnight nae salang ([pronounce the "l" as "r"] my love) and you just got home, so you need rest..." I said.

"So you haven't eaten dinner~? Baby I told you, no skipping meals~ especially when you are shooting." Su Jin said worriedly.

"I'll just prepare something quick and bring it to here, so you can-" Su Jin said about to get up but I grabbed her hand.

"Just stay here and cuddle with me please Jin-ah~" I said in an aegyo way, tugging Su Jin towards me. Su Jin sighs and gives in immediately.

"I can't believe that always works on you." I said before giggling as Su Jin lies down beside me.

"Aish~ ya (hey)! You are still not off the hook for not eating dinner..." Su Jin responded trying to sound annoyed but the truth is, she's really just worried about me.

"Al-a al-asseoyo([prounounce the "l" as "r"] I know I know)... just give me a few more minutes of cuddle time and we can eat together after." I said pulling Su Jin towards me. I hear Su Jin sigh again as she scoots closer and rest her head near my neck.

[End of FLASHBACK]

I got my phone from the bed side table near Minnie unnie (big sister) and silently tiptoed my way towards the window.

"Nae salang ([pronounce the "l" as "r"] my love) Su Jin Yeh, I hope you are doing well..." I said softly as I look out to the empty neighborhood.

Looking at the street lights is making me more sad, everywhere I look is making me sad because I miss Su Jin so much. I have so many questions in my mind... And I would be lying if I said I didn't want to get the answers for it at this moment but as what Minnie unnie (big sister) said earlier night, I should ask the doctor himself.

"I am sorry for everything my love..." I said sadly.

"I hope you know that I didn't mean to forget you. If only I had the control of who... or what to forget, you are definitely not the person I will want to not remember." I added before sighing.
