Chapter 4: Blood Bound Pack

Once we got to the Blood Bound pack we were greeted by alpha Gray.

"I'm Asher Gray, alpha of the Blood Bound pack, you must be Skylar Knights," He said shaking Williams hand and then taking mine, "And you must be his mate." He smiled at us.

"Actually I'm Skylar Knights, alpha of the Midnight Moon pack, this here is William Knights my brother." I said shaking his hand once again. "Also known as the beta of the Midnight Moon pack." Will said also shaking his hand again.

"Wow, a female alpha? That's, that's very impressive." He said looking at me in surprise. He looked to be about 19 years old. Black hair and deep blue eyes. He looked in shape, very build, not overly bulky but just the right amount.

"I'm glad to hear you are impressed. Most people think that it can't be possible and that our pack is full of idiots for letting a girl be the alpha. But if that was the case I don't think we'd be the strongest pack in the world." I said speaking my mind.

"I agree in all honest, and I apologize for being sexist and assuming he was the alpha, but you should understand you are the only female alpha to ever exist." He explained. I nodded in agreement. "Now, will you show us our rooms? We've had a long day and need rest for tomorrow." I asked him.

"Of course follow me. We have an area where we keep empty rooms for guests. You will all be staying there." He walked us to the back of the house. It was very big. But I imagined not everyone lived here. When we drove in to his territory there was many houses close to each other. I guessed other pack members lived there.

Once he showed us to our rooms we said good night to each other and went to our rooms. I changed in to a sleeping dress and long warm socks that I pushed down so they'd only go above my ankles. I brushed my teeth, combed my hair and went to bed.

The next morning after we ate breakfast we were all in Asher's office. His beta and two of his best fighters were with him. Levi and Kenny were the names of the to brunettes that were said to be his best fighters. I was seated next to William across from Asher's desk. The rest of my friends were siting in two couches behind us.

"Have any of your pack members made contact with him?" I asked wonder how extended their relationship with Kai, or who we hoped was Kai, was.

"No, my beta here was out in town and noticed he was a werewolf but he didn't belong to our pack. He thought he was most likely a rogue. But he saw him interacting with humans. When he got closer he noticed him call them mom and dad. Once he told me I called your father and explained." He let us know and I took the information in.

"Do you know where he lives?" William asked curiosity in his voice. "Yeah, he lives in town. They just moved in about two weeks ago." Great they can take us to him, I thought as he spoke.

"We can take you to him if you'd like." His beta, Steve I believe was his name, had said. "Yes, could we go know?" I asked getting up from my chair, William and the rest of us doing the same soon after.

"Yes, let's go." Asher said getting up. He showed us to the garage where they kept many cars. He let us take one of his SUV's and Jeep. I drove one and William drove the other. Our friends got inside.

Asher got into a mustang with the rest of his friends. We turned on the engines and drove off.

Awhile later we got into town and we followed Asher's car into a neighborhood. It was full of two story houses with beautiful gardens. My wolf started to get bubbly.

We drove further in and we saw a male figure swiftly get into a Camaro. I was doing a three way on my phone so I was talking to Asher and William. "That's him, let's follow." Asher said. "Alright let him leave and we'll go once he makes a turn." I ordered as we saw the shine black Camaro drive off.

We waited a minute and he made a left turn. We all followed it. "Oh my, I feel like a spy. This is exciting!" Celeste spoke up. "I hope he doesn't notice we are following him!" Rae exclaimed. I agreed with her. It be a disaster if he noticed.

Thankfully he hadn't after twenty minutes. But he had drove into a road that lead to the woods. Which would make it easy for him to see us following. "Let him go and we'll park in the beginning of the woods and follow on foot. Does that sound good?" William suggested.

"I think we should."

"I agree. Let's park here then." We all agreed and stopped following Kai's car and parked in the woods. We all got out. "Should we shift or stay in human form?" Jake asked. "Human form. Let's follow the noise of the car." I said and we all started running.

I ran ahead of everyone with William, Asher, and Steve behind me. The rest following. "Stop!" I whisper yelled. There was a path long in front of us. And on the other side of the path was the shine black Camaro Kai was driving.

Faintly, I saw his body walking down the path. When I saw that glimpse of him my stomach did flips and turns full of butterflies. My wolf howled in happiness but I didn't know why. Maybe it was because I was so glad to finally get him to his parents.

"Where is he?"

"His car is on the other side of the path."

"So then he walked down?" Everyone asked and guessed. "Yeah I just saw him walking down the path. We have to be very quite." I said waving them over to the path. They followed my lead.

As soon as we got to the path the smell hit me. His scent. It was the best smell my nose had ever inhaled. It smelled of mint with dark chocolate. Mostly mint. It was amazing. It was like heaven to my nose, it nearly enveloped me and carried me off to the skies. My wolf exclaimed 'mine, mine, mine,' in delight.

"Hey, earth to Skylar." Celeste said and Will snapped his fingers near my face. They pulled me back to reality and out of my trance. "You okay?" William asked.

"Yeah I'm perfect, let's keep going." I said walking further down the path. But the scent intensified as we got closer. My wolf getting happier and happier with every step I took. The sent driving me crazy. I didn't know what this feeling was and why I was getting it.

Finally we were about 20ft away from him. My heart felt like it would explode of happiness and pleasure.

He turned around and started running towards me as did I. Everyone seemed to disappear and it was just him and I.

I ran faster and faster. It felt like I'd never get to him. But then I felt his strong arms around my body as I placed my arms over his shoulders pulling him closer and holding on tight. As soon as my skin made contact with his bare upper body I felt jolts of pleasurable electricity.

I took in his scent one more time while I buried my face in between his neck and shoulder. Know I knew why I was feeling the way I was.

Right in that moment while we both held on to each other so tight, we both whispered out one word.

"Mate."
