Chapter 10

"Who's Cassandra?" Thomas asks. I look at him with panic.

"No one!" I accidentally yell. They flinch. "I'm sorry um... It's my old name... But can we not talk about it?"

"Of course Sunshine." Alexander Says. Justin looks at him weirdly. "What? Nicknames are a thing."

"Oh hush bear." I tell Alexander. Everyone looks at me. "Foods done." I say handing them plates. I shake my heads as they stuff their faces.

"That was delicious." Thomas tell me. Justin nods in agreement and I smile.

"Thanks." I look down at my plate when suddenly the plate is taken. I growl and look at Alexander. "I know you didn't just-"

"You eat too slow." He says, taking a bite. I growl again and walk to him.

"It was nice getting to know you Alpha." Justin and Thomas yell as Alexander stands up. I jump on him and he falls in surprise. I growl and point to his chest.

"Nobody fucking touches MY food." I tell him. He smiles and switches positions, him being on top.

"I just did." He says. I smirk.

'Let's play with him a bit?' My wolf asks.

'Obviously' I reply. I wrap my legs around his waist and my arms wrap around his neck. I bring him closer and kiss his neck softly.

"What are you doing sunshine?" He asks. I smile as I peck his lips before switching our positions again. I lean down and I hear a gag.

"Ew. PDA!" Thomas and Justin yell. I smile and peck his lips again before getting up. He groans in annoyance and stands up. "That is cold."

"When someone steals my food. I'm a new type of beast." I say, shrugging. Suddenly a loud knock echoes throughout the house. I sniff the air and run to the door.

"Valerie!" Alexander yells. All three boys quickly run behind me and I swing the front door open. I smile before Siage opens her arms wide. I quickly jump on her and she spins us around.

"Saige!" I yell happily. She sets me down and I hug Jacob. I turn to see Blake. He smiles before I jump on him, wrapping my legs around his torso and resting my head in the crook of his neck. "Hi..."

"Hi." He says. I hear a growl and Blake sets me down. Everyone gathers around me and Blake pushes me behind him. Saige grabs my hand and I look at her.

"Come on let's go!" She yells, dragging me away. Alexander growls and I snatch my hand from her. Blake growls and they shift. I gasp and run towards them as Saige yells my name. Jacob grabs me and I wiggle out of his grasp.

'This can't be happening!' I think to myself. Blake jumps on Alexander and  bites his neck. Alexander growls and claws at him before swinging him against a tree. As soon as Blake tries to strike again I get between the two of them. Stupid? Yes. Necessary? Yes. I know.

"Enough!" I yell. Blake tilts his head and I walk to Alexander. I crouch in front of him and he looks at me. "Hey there bear." I stroke his fur and he lays his head on my lap. I look at everyone staring at us with confused faces.

"Valerie?" Thomas asks. Justin and Thomas stands by me and looks at them. "Should we get rid of them?" I hit the side of his head and he grabs it in pain. "Ow!"

"Absolutely not. They're my family." I tell him. He nods and Alexander tilts his head at me.

"Back off Valerie." I hear Blake says. I stand up quickly and glare at him.
