Chapter 43

"So Allyson... You're the descendant of a lucan. A powerful one at that." She nods and I look at Noah. "And you're her body gaurd?"

"Not a body gaurd per se..." He mumbles. I hum and lay my head back on the tree.

"Noah's been my best friend since we were kids." Allyson says. I nod and stare at the sunset as they lay back on their branches. I follow the action and one leg hangs off the side. I put my hands on my stomach and watch as the sun goes down.

"Hey Filia." I hum at Noah and I hear they wind blow past my ears. "Since your the Luna of the greatest pack of all... Why are you here?"

"I'll explain." I tell him. "In due time... What about your pack?"

"Well we don't have one. It's too dangerous." I scoff at Allyson and hear her sigh. "You wouldn't understand..."

"I'm the devil's daughter. I'm probably the only one who understands. I understand it more actually..." I clear my throat. "I'll tell you guys the rest tomorrow."

"Night." I hear. But... I can't close my eyes. I can't. The nightmares keep me awake. I exhale slowly and look up at the full moon.

"Filia?" I look up to see Alyssa and Noah staring at me. "Why are you awake?"

"I just woke up." I lie. He glares at me and I shrug. I am reallyyy bad at lying apparently.

"You don't seem like an evil person." I look at Alyssa. "Not at all."

"And you don't seem like a lycan." I retort. She crosses her arms.

"So what? You killed a rose. I'm soooo scared." My eyebrows raise.

"Oh you want me to show you?" She nods and I stand up and dust off my pants. "How exactly?"

"Simple. Do something bad." I snort and shake my head.

"Okay." I look around. Ah perfect! I run my hand against the tree bark and they watch me intensely. "Come little children. I'll take thee away." The wind blows the leaves and I see them sit down on the rock. "Into a land of enchantment... Come little children..." I hear a crack and I smile. "The times come to play." I look at them and my eyes flash red. "Here in my garden of shadows."

Noah glances around as the sky begins to darken while Allyson gasps at my eyes. I begin walking in between the trees and a path forms. I hear Noah and Allyson get up to follow me.

"Follow sweet children. I'll show thee the way." I continue running my hands along the trees on both sides of the opening. "Through all the pain and the sorrows." My voice slightly quivers but I quickly regain my composure. "Weep not poor children... For life is this way. Murdering beauty and shadows."

We finally reach an arbor with roses and on the sides of the walkway are flowers. We slowly begin walking inside and I finally see the middle. I turn towards Noah and Allyson, who just watch me in curiosity. Screams fill the air and they huddle together in fear.

"Hush now dear children. It must be this way." I close my eyes. "To weary of life and deceptions... Rest now my children. For soon we'll away. Into the calm and the quiet..." I open my eyes and it turns pitch dark. Lightning booms in the cloudy gray sky and I look at Noah and ally.

I being singing A capella and I slowly raise my hands. Lightning strikes beside me and the roses catch on fire, along with the arbor. My hands drop to my sides. As my A capella starts getting more mesmerizing the fire spreads across the other flowers. I look at both sides of the trees and they instantly catch on fire.

"Come little children. I'll take thee away." Ashes begin falling from everything burning to a crisp. "Into a land of enchantment...." I notice Allysons eyes begin to shut as Noah makes sure she doesn't fall. I begin walking towards them and he pants as he looks around. "Come little children. The time's come to play." I put my hand on her cheek and she looks at me with fear. "Here in my garden of shaaadowwss." I drag out the word shadows and I sing A capella again. As soon as I finish she falls limp in Noah's arms. I take my hand off her cheek and my eyes go back to normal their normal red and violet.

"What did you do?" He asks, checking her pulse. I ignore him and grab her out of his arms. I kiss her forehead with a frown.

I drop her and Noah dives to catch her but she safely floats in the air. I look around at the ashes and smile. I did that. I'm fucking awesome.
