i woke up in mattias arms due to the loud birds chirping outside. my face was buried in his chest whilst his arms were gently wrapped around me. i looked up at his face to see dried tear stains left on his cheeks due to last night. i decided to not wake him up and let him rest because of how much he went through last night. i flipped over and grabbed my phone off the end table next to me. i flipped over on my back and mattia adjusted himself a little in his sleep. he put his arm around my waist and relaxed his head on my shoulder. i opened my phone and began scrolling through instagram and checking any text messages i missed.

the italian boys eyes slowly fluttered open, looking up at me and making eye contact
k: "hi"
m: "hey"
k: "you ok?"
he nodded and rolled on his back and put his arms in the air to stretch. he let his arms fall on either side of him. my phone started ringing and i glanced over at the screen to see it was alvaro. i clicked the green answer button at the bottom of the screen.
a: "hey kai kai"
k: "hey alvaro what's up?"
a: "you wanna hang at my house? i'm bored as fuck"
